Nose question re swelling (again) lol

Hi guys,

I knnnooooww it’s prob been asked a million times, I’m just over three weeks post op now and the swelling has kind of moved down to the bottom end of the bridge just above the tip, there’s a sliiiight bump or rather raised bit and it hurts feels kind of like I banshed it, has anyone else had this prob this far down the timeline of swelling?? It’s been bugging me all day cos I can feel it xxx

omg this is exactly what i got, on thursday swelling and really bad throbbing started happening on the right side and i felt a bump then the next day it raised and you can see it abit, its proper getting me down just looks deformed its been 4 days now, mine doesnt hurt tho its soft but it keeps throbbing

im over 3 month and the tip part is still swollen its kind of just going but its still swollen x

Mine is very swollen near the top,looks like Ive had glasses on too long,but I have’nt touched my nose,Im 3 weeks post op tomorrow.xxx

Yeah… I mean, I totally get it will be swollen for a few months to come still, I expect that, it was more the aching as well and being able to feel it was more swollen more on some days rather than others! Maybe I over did it a bit today as now I’m lying down it seems to have calmed down a bit?! Xxxx

hey hun, dont worry, I will probs be posting on here about swelling for the next year lol. I completely under estimated how much of an impact swelling has.

Being the loser I am I have read up loads since my op about everything to do with swelling, and so many people get lumps etc, it is just swelling in one particular spot. We have scar tissue forming under our skin so i presume it is this. Everything happens at different rates in our noses so its inevitable at some point they will be uneven. Not sure about the pain, but having said that some bits of my nose definitely hurt more than others, so its probably something similar.

I dont think its anything to worry about though.

I know we cant exercise as increased blood pressure makes your nose swell. So if you’ve had a busy day that is probs why there is more swelling.

Yeah, totally underestimated the swelling part. I’m trying not to look at my nose too much and then hopefully I’ll wake up one morning in about 4 months and notice a massive change lol! Loving it more every day tho so I suppose it worth all the pain! Ur nose is looking great Georgia! How many days post op are u? I can’t believe I’m 4 weeks this next coming Thursday wtf!!!!! Where has time gone lol! Xxxx

Yea I’m doing the same, trying not to look at my nose top much. Thing is if you stare at anything long enough it’s going to look weird. My swelling is noticeably going down day by day which is a relief, I’m 14 days po today. I’m gradually starting to like it, but still can’t get used to it. Still not convinced this is all worth it tbh but we’ll see

Rinaule I have the exact little bump this….flipping appeard out of nowhere!!! My nose was doing well swelling wise I was starting to notice a difference and now its swollen up again…I swear the air even makes a difference!!! I want the next 6months to FLY! X

Yup, cold air is not good!! Grrrr! I have a bump too now it’s f’ing pissing me right off:( xx

it was weird my nose started throbbing then the next day BAM its there growing like a baby!

I Find the wind proper puts pressure on it and makes it blow up like a balloon, its so bad today this is the worse its been since having it done, i guess all my bad swelling is coming out now xx

Girls are the little lumps getting any bigger/smaller or just the same?? x

mine got bigger yesterday but its gone down today its soft xx

Mines stayed the same it’s a swollen bump on the end of the bridge above my tip i hate it. No one can notice it mind, I know

I have a fat nose today ladies,but my belly matches with all the Christmas treats,just cant stop eating,ill need lipo next,lol,still love my nose even if its swollen,its beautiful.xxx

I’m 3 weeks post op now and I’ve got a bump right on my bridge. Seriously scaring me as this is what I had before (not as bad tho!) Its feels hard tho… How do you know if it’s swelling or not. Swear to god hope this goes… Actually thinking I want to book an apooitment with Dr G to make sure it’s alright! Xx

Naomi mine is hard as well but it’s pretty senstive in that area. It’s defo swelling, I’ve read it a million times on different websites! It’s not going to be cartilidge or bone or anything it’s def the swelling xxx

Actually don’t know what I’d do without this forum… Go crazy probably! Yeah mine’s quite sensitive as well and feels numb if i gently touch it. It’s horrible tho aint it.. Swelling is quite hard so most of the time I’m thinking is this bone still!! I defo understand now with people saying how emotional this all is! It stresses me out being so careful all the time! X
