nosejob advice

hi everyone i an thinking of having a nose job by mr aurazki and would be really greatfull if any one who has had any nose reshaping done could share their experience with me as i really want it done but i am really nervous xx

Hi Nicola I had mine done about a year n half ago and it was deffinatly the best thing I’ve ever done! I’ve always been unhappy with my nose, felt it was too big n had a slight bump, so when I got the 4 grand trust fund for my 18th there wasnt even a second thought in what I was spending it on! Alot of people on my family were trying to talk me out of it, sayying it’s alot of money to spend all in one go but my mum and dad supported me totally as they new how unhappy I was with my nose. I had it done with the hospital group by mr straten 3weeks after my 18th! Lol so yeh I was very eager! He did a fantastic job but if I was to re-do it I would have gone with MYA, nothing to do with the surgery it’s self but my after care was shot and I was ment to be having the surgery at 10 but didn’t get it until 6, I handnt eaten or had a single drop of water since the night before so knowing I had to wait even longer was killing me lol.

Can’t really tell you much about when I first woke up because I can’t remember a thing because of the anaesthetic! But when I woke up properly I had no pain whatsoever, just felt like a really stuffy cold. The nurse woke me up several times through the night to check up on me, shed given me toast but I really didn’t fancy any food. It was a bit of a struggle to drink aswel as I couldn’t breathe at all out my nose and my throat n mouth were so dry, all I wanted to do was sleep anyway!

The next morning I felt the same, stuffy n blocked up but still no pain, and by this point the excitement had kicked in that I finily had a new nose! Couldn’t see it tho because of the huge cast on it. Then the nurse had to pull some sort of long tissues out my nostrils which I didn’t even kno was there lol that felt abut uncomfortable but was only for two seconds! About an hour later I rang my dad to come and pick me up because the nurses didn’t mention anything on what to do

When I got home I went straight to bed but had to sleep with my pillows propped up for a week which was abit annoying. I must admit o did look a mess tho! My eyes were so black and swollen you could bearly see my actual eye, I looked like a pig lol. I was given plenty of painkillers but didn’t need them once! I was giving dressings aswel which I changed about twice a day. When the cast came off a week later I was so happy, I now had this cute little nose they said it was still really swollen but I couldn’t tell!

So yeh was comportly pain free and deffinatly worth the money. So if its what you want then go for it

thank you so much for your reply xmercedesx it was great reading your experience.i have an appointment next week with the sergeon i cant wait.im just really scared of having a opperation but think having my nose done would improve my confidence so much so think i have to do it.as for what i want doing my nose is quite straight and doesnt have that much of a bump but i just feel my nose looks huge from the side and is poiny and masculine and i am totaly paranoid wen people take pics of me incase they get my profile.plus i got teased with it in high school.maybe u did 2 ? .i hope u dont mind if i ask u a few questions

after u spoke 2 your sergeon did you have the picture of what ur new nose would look like and did the final outcome match it ?

Bit of a wierd one but everyone keeps sayin what if you dont look like you anymore ? do u feel your face has changed at all other than ur nose obviously lol ?

could everyone tell ud had it done who didnt know ?

Oh I kno exacly what you mean about when people take pictures! I use to hate it, every picture I was in I made sure I was face on lol I absolutely hated my profile. I’d get the odd few comments here n there when I was at school, mostly from a so called friend…bitch lol I was really shy tho because of my nose, I felt paranoid about it constantly but now I’ve had it done I can’t believe how much my confidence just boosted, it’s weird to actually like my profile now and feel comfortable wearing my hair in certain styles which I felt made my nose more noticeable before if you get what I mean? Corse I don’t mind hun ask away Oo I was never shown a picture of how it will look, that sounds amazing! All I can say is don’t expect anything unrealistic, but I’m sure you know what you want anyway

Yeah some of my family said I wouldn’t look like me anymore but they was all really suprised how much it suited me, I deffinatly still look like me…it’s just you’re not automatically drawn to notice my nose straight away now.

Before I had it done I started thinking that after a smaller nose might make my chin look big but that was stupid lol the surgeons know exactly what there doing and make sure everything is in proportion.

I was really paranoid and thought everyone would notice the difference but as far as I know nobody even suspects! When I told a few people after I had it they was just like what?! Then after having a good look they’d be like oh yeah I can tell now! Lol I never got my before pictures from the surgeon and never had any side profile pictures of it before surgery so I had nothing to compare to but after watching a few home videos from a few years back the other day I’m so glad I had the rhinoplasty! Aha

I’d send you some before n afters but like I said I have no before pics only have a picture with the cast on n my black eyes n obviously how it looks now so not really any use!

Having it done will deffo boost your confidence tho, it’s an amazing feeling being so happy with your nose and not trying to hide it n angle your face in photos all the time lol Go for it hun, it’s the best thing I’ve done without a shadow of doubt! x

thanx hun.i really really want it done done now lol.im just really scared of having and operation and getting put to sleep and that il feel like i cant breath out of it properly ever again.I wouldnt have any before profile pics before either cos if i seen one id get rid of it straight away lol.which sergeon did u have ? .how long before u felt comfatable enuf that the bruising was down enuf to go out ?.il definatly take sum before and after pics.do u have any normal pics of u b4 even face on or can u not tell on them ? .it doesnt matter how many people tell me my nose is fine its me and it would i think make me feel so much better .really glad ur happy with ur new nose .sorry for mithering you lol xxx

I was terrified of bein put to sleep just because of the needle, they put some numbing cream on my hand but I was still scared and ended up bursting into tears in the operating room lol but they was all really lovely and calmed me down…next thing I know I was fast off lol.

I couldn’t breath out it for a few days I think, but I was too scared to blow my nose like 6 months after but that’s just me bein daft!

I had mr straten. As soon as they took my cast off I was straight back to work and fine to go out, all the bruising round my eyes had gone and although the nurse said it was still very swollen I couldn’t tell, it just looked slightly wider on that bit just below and inbeteeen my eyebrows. Youl have to show me your pics when youve had it done. It pretty much looks the same on face on pics, I’ll still have a good look for you tho to see if I can find any

Yeah thats right it dosnt matter what no one says, your doing it for you so there opinion dosnt matter.

Yeh youl be fine! I was really excited on the day up until the last minute then I just panicked, but like I said everyones really lovely, they deal with it all the time I supose lol

Think I’ve found you that or I’ve added a random! Of you look in the my 18th and college albums that’s my old nose, but probably can’t tell much of a difference cus theres no side profile ones Xx
