Ok I really didn’t want to have to write this but here goes!! To cut a long story short i went to see my surgeon on Friday 11th May where he agreed to do a re op. As my PC is off sick I have been given another one in the mean time so went to see her about sizes and I was told I would be contacted about a date. So it got to the evening of 14th and I still hadn’t heard anything so I rang them myself. I was told they were just waiting for some paperwork from head office and I would be contacted with dates the next day or weds. Tues and weds came and went so thurs afternoon I rang again to be told they would get onto head office and ring me back. Didn’t hear anything for the rest of the day or Friday so I rang this morning and was told my new PC was with a patient and she would ring me right back…2 hours later and I’m still waiting!!
It is nerve wracking enough having to have a re op and but not only that I have alot on at work at the moment and will need to book time off as will my boyfriend, not an easy task for either of us! And I’m going on holiday in early September so I really need a date sorting and to be kept updated without having to chase people! MYA have been fab up to now and I really can’t fault them, I just hope they don’t let themselves down now xx
