Hi girls I haven’t Been on the site for ages . I had my BA 5 months ago. One of my breasts is a lot bigger than the other and it’s really upsetting me. Before I had my BA my breasts where the same size so didn’t need 2 different size implants. It’s really noticeable and I hate looking at my breasts now I keep my self covered up Even in front of my partner. I had a BA to boost my confidence but I feel worse now than when I did before. I know they need time to heal put it’s coming up nearly 6 months they are not swollen anymore and neither of them look like they Are going to change in size ! I’m considering trying to get a appointment with my surgeon but feel it will be a waste of time ! Any advice would be much appreciated xxx

Sorry to hear….did you have unders or overs? If they are unders then they may change a bit more. It may be worth seeing your surgeon; he will be able to give you better advice. I very much doubt that you will be able to get them corrected for free though. Your best bet will probably be a re op xx

Charlie go and see your surgeon hun! You never know what they might say. I have Mr Traynor and he has been fab. I had a big asymmetry pre op but afterwards my leftie was still alot smaller, so much so the nurse at my 6 week check thought i needed another 30cc in it! When i saw Mr T at 13 weeks he was fab, reassured me that they still need to settle but im coming along really well. He said my left would take longer to catch up cos it was a fair bit smaller and i had 70cc more in it. They will never be exactly equal but he said if it didnt change and i still wasnt happy then to go back at 6 months and see him then.

They seem to be changing a bit and i am getting used to them but if they don’t get any better then I’ll be going back. You paid alot of money and you want good results so make sure you get them!! You dont ask, you dont get!! And if they refuse then stand your ground and fight your corner! xx

Hey Hun, sorry to hear you’re not happy. You are supposed to see your surgeon at 6montha anyway as far as I am aware so you will get chance to talk about it then. And if he/she agrees with your concerns and there is a definite difference that wasn’t there pre op then I would ask about the possibilities of a re op hun xx

I would definitely go see your surgeon honey, however the breasts can take up to a year for the end results depending on the placement you had,and a year does seem a very long time for us all to wait, but if you look at post op members that have had their ops a year ago they will tell you how much they do change.massive hugs honey, let us know how you get on.xxx

Hi not sure why this topic has posted 4 times . I had 460 overs in both breasts. When I went for my last check up which was 12 weeks I think I seen the nurse and the surgeon they seemed ok then and my surgeon said he wouldn’t need to see me for another year. But now they have settled dropped and swelling has completely gone 1 is different bigger. I can fit my hand around my left breast but my right breast is so much bigger that I can’t put my hand around it. If I wear a bra and a normal top it’s not really noticeable. But if I wear boob tubes I can notice it . I have also wore a push up corset on a night out and 1 breast looked a lot higher than the other. I rang Mya today and I have booked a appointment for the 25th with my surgeon. I have the worst feeling ever that he will say the size difference is not that bad and there’s nothing I can do about it this is why I haven’t bothered to go see him yet because I’m so worried. I’m going to be heartbroken if my surgeon does not agree with me. :-( x

charlie001 – I can feel your anguish babe, I’ve had so many probs that my Surgeon has so far dismissed. My left is a whole cup size bigger than my right, really noticeable when I bend over. In La Senza my left measured an E and my right a DD and it looks ridiculously in padded, push bra’s. I think my problem is a mixture of my left being bigger than my right and my right bottoming out but hopefully I’ll get some answers next week when I go back. It’s not right that we pay all this money and end up more unhappy, def arrange to see your Surgeon and try to bring someone with you for support if that helps. Personally as soon as I stand topless in front of my Surgeon I crumble and can’t stand my ground about something which I know is not right or normal and then I just go along with whatever I’m told so I can quickly put my top back on. Really keen to hear how you get on babe – good luck Xx
