I’m about 1 week late on my period, I’m so worried as I’m usually on time give or take a few days. I’ve obviously not been on any contraception recently as been told not to. I’ve done three pregnancy tests and all are negative but it’s not putting my mind at ease as still no period. I really don’t want this to ruin my BA, it’s booked for 13th March. I’ve heard u loose 100% of the money, I don’t see why falling pregnant should be treated as a punishment!!
Does anybody know how this work? If I am pregnant (99% sure I’m not) I don’t mind putting it on hold till I’m ok to have it after the baby, but I don’t see why I should loose thousands of pounds! xx
I haven’t looked into it as I haven’t been in your situation but I’m sure if you were to be pregnant they could just give you another date not just take your money.. Then fit someone into your space so they wouldn’t exactly loose out xx
It’s unlikely they would take your money if you were unable to have your BA . Try to not panic until you know for sure whether your pregnant or not . … those pregnancy kits are 99% accurate , but to put your mind at ease do another test .
I was a week late woth my period for this month, I think it was the stress as I have been worrying and obsessing about the surgery! Try not to worry too much x
Fingers crossed everything is ok, three negative tests so I can’t see myself being pregnant. I’m just that 1% worried, but we will see. Thanks girls, I’ll keep you updated!! xxx
Stress will put your period off too remember, your anxious and panicking not only about the op but not coming on. Give it a few more days x
Same thing happened to me, my op was yesterday and I was due on my period last Sunday, I didn’t come on till Friday! Took a load of pregnancy tests panicking. I think it was down to stress x
When you stop taking your pill your body goes a lil crazy and your period is quite often delayed. I stopped taking mine 4 weeks ago and still haven’t had mine. Don’t worry too much about it xx
Same happened to me, I had my op last Sunday, I took tests knowing I wasn’t, and then it came the night before my op, after being a month late, I think it’s stress, working our bodies up for our big day xx
