not surgery but can't wait 5 weeks left!!

I wish i was saying it was 5 weeks left till surgery but its 5 weeks until i have my micro ring hair extensions I CANNOT WAIT!!!! has anyone else on here had these type of hair extensions and do u have any tips in keeping them looking great? xx

no i have the normal ones hun….just use a good shampoo and that one that bed head or aussie and get a proper brush too xx

They r hair extensions where they put individual small sections of hair throughout the natural hair and attatch it by putting a small ring around it and then clamping it closed. Apparently its the safest way to have hair extensions. Normally I use clip in, but getting sick of continuously clipping them in and out. My bf is getting them me as an early xmas prezie, theyre costing £250 so don’t wanna wreck them as soon as theyre in lol xx

ahhh, u say ‘ring’ is it like glue hun or like tie up? lol, sorry if thats a dumb question x

lol nahh no glue, nothing like that, theyre like a tiny ring that can be opened and closed. So it makes the touch ups easier as they can open the ring and tighten it up to the roots so it doesnt grow out as ur hair grows, if u know what i mean. They r easier to maintain and not harsh like pre bonded or glue in ones and last longer i cnt wait to get them done xx

Yeah i will do hun, theyre gonna take about 4/5 hours to do though..at least she’s a mobile hairdresser so at least i’ll be at home already lol is it okay to add u hun? xx

yeah hun course, ooh as if it takes this long, id love to get extensions, my hairs quiet long but i would love it a bit longer and thicker but wud hate to damage my normal hair xx

Yeah i used to be bright platinum blonde and then i made the HUGE mistake of dying it myself for a year and it completely wrecked my hair it was sooo damaged and i was surprised i didnt end up bald! So since July i’ve been goin to the hairdressers and having it done properly, i went to a dark blonde but dnt rly like it as i miss my blonde hair loads, so having highlights to make it to the colour i want, slowly but surely its starting to feel normal again, its shoulder length though, and short hair really doesnt suit me Micro ring hair extensions dont damage ur hair and theyre the best ones to use, theyre even better than the clip in extensions xx

i love my extensions feel bald without them xx

Oh god and me, i feel sooo ugly without them and when i go to work and wear my hair up i hate it too, feels horrible, just love having long locks xx

I used to be platinum blonde then within a year I went brunette and short! I currently have purple/red shoulder length bob but would love my long blonde hair back can’t justify paying out for extensions though….I’m doing it the hard way and growing it! Lol xx

Whereabouts r u from hun?? and i didnt know much about them until the girl i work with mentioned her sis is a professional hairdresser and does hair extensions aswell. I had a look at her work on fb and she looks rly good. They r usually more expensive than £250, so its a bargain really! Just cannot wait i’m soo excited lol xx

Also do your research as there are ALOT of people out there who provide such a bad service when it comes to professional hair extensions, always check pics of their work and reviews xx

i get my hair from a site called hair trade for aboyt 80 and my friend does them and charges me 150 to put then in,takes 5 hours xx

So all together ur paying £230 for the completed look? u could get micro rings for that how long do ur pre bonded ones last hun?? xx

they come already glued at the tips so then they just get glued into mine. mine have always looked really good i never use conditioner on the bonds only ever on the top and tips of my hair and wash the extensions 2 to 3 times a week. never blow dry extensions straight from wet always let them dry natural for a hour or so first.and always brush from the tips xx

I had extensions for my sisters wedding a few months back I loved them. I’m quite tempted to have them done again. Had pre bonded before would prob go for micro rings time tho. I think you can get curly or wavy ones now which I like the sound of…..just a Question if I can afford it long term! X

Is it the bs main ones u have pk? I do them, I had some1 do them on mine & they wrecked my hair, I was gutted! xxx

It cost me around 250 for a full head, I’m hoping micro rings would be a better option as you can reuse them. The only thing I found is I had to have a fair bit of my own hair chopped to blend it in. she has quoted me 150 for half a head in micro rings which includes a maintainance pack
