theyre lovely, friendly etc but when it comes to actually getting things done i was VERY VERY disappointed. had my ba yesterday and the surgeon was fab (my kazzazi, VERY impressed with him hes a fab surgeon) but mya themselves have been appalling. constant promises to return phone calls n not doing so, loosing paperwork, lack of communication between everyone who was ment to be working together, leaving things untill the last minute, not getting in touch with who they were supposed to get in touch with etc etc, they were terrible! STRONGLY advise NOT to go with them. even caused me to have a 6 hour delay on my surgery as they ordered the wrong size implants to be sent to the hospital. had to get mine from a factory and send them via courier after telling me (i was in my surgery gown, stocking etc at this point) that my surgery may have to be cancelled if the place didnt have the right size in due to their mistake. u can imagine how gutted i was to hear that after weeks of waiting n counting down to surgery! VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER! just wanted to warn others out there not to make the mistake i did and have to pay £4500 for stress. GO ELSEWHERE!. i must add im very happy with the finished surgery but wish i just went direct to mr kazzazi’s hospital he works in instead of going through useless mya.

I had similar issues chloe so know how you feel…..even to the point where after my surgery I’m lying their in bed swelling with a nurse telling me I have the wrong support garment!!!!not happy if it wasn’t for my lovely surgeon and highgate I’d be even more disappointed!!! It got sorted as Marion had to get a courier to deliver the garment to the hosp as I had a tt I needed it rite away!!!all ican say now is happy healing Hun.xx
Im having this same problem at the mo, im all booked and paid for but i had to bloody work for it. Cant fault mr Falladhar he made me feel very safe and the nurse who did my pre op was lovely, but my PC is actually useless. i feel like im HER pc. its a joke and really stressing me out. She sent me to the wrong clinic for my pre op, then tried to make out it was my fault…even though i have email proof and a signed letter both from HER. Then she forgot what procedure i was having 3 times in 10 mins after i had to keep reminding her. This is after weeks of unanswered phonecalls and texts and RUDE texts from her too. My BF was FUMING! Because of this im getting really worried about not having the right implants ready on the day. Is there an email address for a manager at Wimpole street do you know? Think i might email her and get her to check up on my PC and make sure she’s ordered everything. xxxx

CHLOEGFUAD was you at Park Hill on the 18th? I was and my admission time was 1pm pc said I’d go down between 1 and 2 and didnt go down until 7.45 was absolutley distraught I cant even explain what an awful experience I have had I was so nervous I nearly went home at 7pm, Mr Kazzazi and the nurses were amazing tho but I just kept getting fobbed off with different stories.
Will defo not reccommend MYA to anyone they have no organisation skills at all.

Well unless they sort these issues out,they will lose customers fast,what has changed so much in the space of 6 months this forum used to be filled with patients praising MYA,it is so sad,to watch a company deteriorate.xxx
I had a fantastic experience,but that is clearly not the case for all.
MYA need to know about this ladies,it seems that the people that count are not getting the message,people that have the ability to change things,so please make a complaint,they can not improve the service if they dont know what is going wrong,big hugs,so sorry you had a rubbish experience,this should have been so memorable for you,xxx

Thanks Mya mod I am writing a formal letter of complaint as I feel the amount of time I was kept waiting when I’d not eaten since the night before or drank since 630 in the morning my head was banging I felt like I was being tortured as I was terrified of being put to sleep in the first place I cant even begin to tell you what a horrible experience I had I’m just praying I heal well and dont have to be put through it again as I have lost all faith in MYA after all the stress of my op day and other issues Ive had with MYA the days leading upto which I wont go into now nut will put in writing.

kymbo yes i was, at 10am, ment to be going down to surgery at 11 but instead spent all day in my surgery clothes bored and very hungry (did eat for about 19 hours when i could have done if i didnt get messed about) then got told id be going down at around 2pm, then 3, then mya rang and said no later then 4pm but eventually went for surgery at atound 6.30pm
thanks mya mod. i will be also writing letter of complaint. i found a ba for £3999 at a different company n was going to go with them but thought id rather pay the extra (£4500) and go with a company with a slightly better rep. worse mistake i made

Oh im so sorry as I know exactley how you were felling, I got told someone had had complications in theatre thats what the hold up was???( made me feel a whole lot more confident!!!NOT) Could not recommend Mr Kazzazi and his team anymore tho if anyone is reading this he put me an ease straight away as soon as I got upto theatre and all the nurses were fab(especially a lady called Penny), just wish I’d of had a better experience!
chloegfuad and kymbo which clinic did you go through? I am having my op at park hill with mr kazazzi too so im a little worried after hearing this story. i even said to mr kazazzi at my consultation ive heard of girls who have turned up on the day of their BA and their implants havent been ordered in or they are the wrong ones and he said hes never experienced that with any of his girls….
I have to say my experience with my PC was not acceptable. Wishy washy answers, no response to emails, abrupt and hurried when I asked questions, my finance application being messed up when I was specific with what option I wanted and also telling me dates for appointments which I would then book off to be told actually this was not a good date for DR Russo. If I hadn’t wanted to have DR Russo so much to carry out my procedure I would of cancelled. There are certain qualities needed to carry out the PC role which were lacking in mine. I feel I would make a brilliant Pc as I would really care for my caseload!
I am now 4 days post op went from 32a/ small b to c cup, really happy with the hospital part of my experience at the fitzroy, could not of asked for more caring staff, shame the initial experience with mya was not very professional.
i had a bad experience with mya and wasnt going to complain but after reading this think i might write a letter now they proberly wont do anything but if we all stick together, like someone said in above post mya was well known for the good reputation …… my pc rang 1 hr before me setting off for op to say i could go to london if i wanted now to singh wtf 1 hour befor i was setting of to leeds to have my op we kazzai
wen i got to hosp i got told my mrsa results wasnt back and my op was cancelld after plenty of kicking off i got my op but alot later like other girls could of had food etc, my pc never rang me after my op all fake n pretending to be nice before my op cos they wrk on commission, i live in derbyshire my consult was leeds operation in doncaster but my pc who i never met was in london shambles i will never reccomend mya, but dr kazzai was fab the best my nurse leanne was brill to

I think it’s such a shame people have different experiences in different clinics; I’m at the Bristol clinic and my pc is Fay and have to say she’s been fab after a bit of a rocky start she answers e-mails and texts, same with my nurse Kate; she got staight back to me via text with my query answered. Let’s hope they make sure the service is the same for everyone x

tb1090 was mr kazzazi at parkhill, it was only on friday (18th may) but if hes said that been between friday and today, hes lying hun. BUT dont get me wrong, the staff at parkhill were amazing. everything ran smoothly (that was under their power, not myas!!) and they kept me updated about implants when mya rang about them etc and mr kazzazi did a brill job so dont worry about him or the hospital cause i was really impressed with them. its just mya themselves that were a huge let down. wish i just went via parkhill instead of messing about through mya. kymbo, that would have been me! sorry if it messed ur op up or made it late or whatever. blame mya n their rubbish organisation skills! strongly advise to anyone reading this. dont go to mya go directly to whichever hospital your wanting it done at and ask there instead of getting messed about! xx
All these bad reveiws are driving me crazy. I’m reading more bad then I am good. All I’m saying is if mya mess me about even just once I will get my money back! I’m paying over £10000 and expect to get what I’m paying for! Xx
Aww this is so sad to read sorry girls:( i went through leeds too and had mr k at parkhill and mine was 2 month ago only thing i can fault was wen i rang rexeption to get intouch with some1 id not get a call ack but i would if i did it all throigh my pc. Dont no wots happend cause tbey bavnt always been bad but it needs sorting. Hope it all gets sorted girls xxx
Dont worry chloegfuad its not your fauly at all they need to organise things a bit better the hospital told me MYA admit upto 6 girls a day at the same time so someone is always going to be last anyway its just infuriating I would of rather waited at home with my children been relaxed I stressed this to my pc too saying I didnt want to be waiting around all day x
i had to complain on here that after my op NOBODY had phoned me i had a phone call 2-3 days post op, had to travel 2 n half hours for my 9day post op app which took 5 minutes!! have heard NOTHING from my pc AFTER my op now 4 weeks post op….. VERY PROFESSIONAL!! on the plus size i do love n am very happy with my new boobs xx

Don’t bother complaining. I did a few days after my op (about park hill in doncaster) which was the 9th march and took ages to get an official ‘we’ve received your complaint’ letter that then gave me a 20 working day time scale which has now lapsed and I’ve heard nothing. After everything I’m still glad I went through Mya as otherwise I wouldn’t have had my fantastic surgeon mr k. He’s amazing and I love my boobs
Just wish Mya head office were better.
