nottingham clinic… no nurse??

hey girls

is any of ur nearest clinic nottingham? i had my op on wed at highgate really happy cant wait to get this tape off and see them properly .. before my op i had to go to birmingham for the pre op with nurse because there was no nurse at nottingham.. and im booked in at birmingham again for wed post op with nurse.. has anyone else had this? i dont get why nottingham dont have a nurse, still? they are going to give petrol cost but its just such a long mission and i feel horrible on the person that has to take me again and im worrying how many more times will have to go all the way over there how many more check ups wil i have is it this one and then 6wks? i had no idea id have to be going birmingham all time when i booked the surgery yano…thanx, cant complain about anything else though am really happy with the surgery etc.. xxx

I had my consultation and will meet dr kazzazi at Nottingham but have my pre op and aftercare at Birmingham and I’m having the ba in Doncaster. Fortunately for me I live in Leicester and its the same distance to each clinic. They told me it would be a 7 day check and then a 3 month check? I’m booked in for my ba on the 9th march xxx

Hi hun, I’ve had a consultation at Nottingham and there has been a nurse there. This was a few months ago though so maybe it has changed and she doesn’t go there anymore. I’m guessing I will have to go to Birmingham too then which is a massive pain in the bum. xx

hey babe yea i had my first 2 consultations at notts, have u booked ur surgery yet? u dont meet the nurse til just before surgery date so u mite be lucky, i would think they should have one soon cuz it will be hard work for a lot of patients xxx

Notts I am sooooooo excited!! I’d prefer it if all the appointments were at the same place and Nottingham is so much easier. I’ve got to go round the spaghetti junction to get to the Birmingham clinic and my appointment is 4.30pm, it’s gunna be horrendous but hey ho, I’ll do anything for my new (.)(.)’s!xxxxx

aw bless uh aha yea its worse when ur not use to driving there haha mine was more cuz took hours and we wer gone after 5mins lol.. yep it will def b worth it, enjoy ev min babe xxx

No not booked yet. I’m saving at the moment and just going to get a latespace cos my work are pretty flexible. X

I went to notttingham for first consultation n seen mr Singh which was lucky, however phoned today and said he isn’t going to Nottingham any more so will have to go to Birmingham.. So guess it will get expensive. How many times after op do we have to go back to nurse? Xx

im having to go to birmingham tomorrow for my pre op but my pc told me that by the time i have my op on 30th march nottingham will have its own nurse xx

I have my pre op tomorrow at birmingham too! x
