NUMB

Hi girls,

I’m only 5 days PO and my recovery seems to be going well…the pain is almost gone now I’m just not able to reach up high or lift anything too heavy yet.

My boobs look good I think, the only thing is half my left one is numb! Like the inside, cleavage half. Did anyone else have this… I’ve read a lot of stories on the internet about the feeling never coming back!

Just looking for a little reassurance although I know everybody is different

Hi hun – wait for the swelling to go and for ur boobs to drop and settle. It does get better.

I must say at 10 months post op im still numb under me boobs and still not got full feeling back in my nipples x

I’m 5 days PO too and I don’t have feeling in half of both my boobs on the cleavage sides!

It’s normal and feeling should eventually be restored.

Hey girls! Just so you know it will take a long time for feeling to come back after an op. it took me a whole year To get the feeling back near my incision when I had a c-section so I’m thinking it will be the exact same thing for BA! Don’t worry it will come bk but ur nerves will take time to restore… Annoying I know! Xx

My left one is numb all over!! It’s really strange when you touch your skin but can’t feel anything!!! I hope the feeling comes back soon xx

I was numb for ages! it felt horrible to touch especially once feeling started to come back, I could feel it when i touched my skin but wasnt very strong kinda felt like i was touching my skin over a jumper lol still not fully back at almost 2 months po! my nipples and the skin around is are kinda normal but underneath is still pretty numb! Hope i havent lost it forver

Not a massive issue to me either – they look great thats all that matters lol x
