Hi girls, just a quick query. Both of my boobs are very numb on the side near my arms/under my armpit. I’m 9 days post op – is this normal? Also, will they move out from under my armpits as at the moment they seem very wide!!
Thanks in advance.
xx
Hey this us totally normal. I was numb in the same place with hardly any feeling for about 5 or so weeks. I still have tiny areas that are slightly numb in that area and I’m 12 weeks now. Boobs will soften and drop to more natural shape soon x
Thanks Sara, i was thinking you would be a good person to ask. How do yours feel now? Are they very obviously not real? Have you found good bras for creating a top cleavage?
xx
Both things are very normal – i’m 4 months and if I itch myself on the sides it can still feel numb in places and hurt a little bit.
They feel very real tho, my left one particularly – I wouldn’t say even to feel that it seems fake anymore but dunno if it’s just that i’ve got used too em x
There great, I think they look totally natural and feel like I have had them forever. The la senza balconette bras fit me the best. Can’t find good cleveage ones that come in bigger than a d/dd cod I need an e cup
got some pics of my boobs in bras etc in my album x
hey yeah my boobs are still quite numb on the bottom and around my scars and i had my op in dec 2009! I’d go to bravissimo and get measured first, i went to la senza and they told me I was a 32D and that’s what ive been wearing for the last year until bravissimo told me im actually a 28FF! x
Wow 28FF I wish my waist was that small! It’s totally normal, I’m almost 3 weeks post op and my boobs are numb underneath xx
All totally normal!! I am slowloy regaining more and more sensation back every day, but still numb underneath – not surprising as they have cut through nerve endings in tissue…..But im optimistic that I will regain most of the sensation in time
x
Bravissimo measured me small backed too – a 30… that small that none of the other stores ever fit! The nurse at MYA told me that they’re useless and even tho I’ve ended wearing 32’s Mr Kazazzi told me that they’re too tight and to stick with 34’s as the small band bras can ‘ruin the implants’ apparently.
Go with what you feel fits, regardless of the actual size as these measurers clearly don’t have a clue!
xx
i started a 32 back, kazzazi told me always wear 34 but i dont, i only wear 32 back still. 34 was to baggy and i had to fasten it on the tightest fastening which means that bra wouldnt last long. i dont feel to tight or uncomfortable so hope im not ruining my boobs
x
Ye, the 32 wasn’t tight on me either but he told me to loosen it off and tighten the straps.. dunno why?!
Only thing I do know though is that if I wore the 30/32F like Bravissimo said I’d have a very sore back and my boobs would be drowned by the cups lol – well, unless I bought from them in SOME of their range but nowhere else would fit xx
i wear the 32f la senza balconette bras, they fit me really nicely. i have it fastened on middle catch and feels fine. i havent been to bravisimo to be measured yet x
Ye and from looking, your boobs are bigger than mine – everywhere else i’ve been I was measured as 32E/34DD, that was with swelling though I reckon as I’ve since worn 32DD’s and they seem to fit perfect but can vary dependant on the store xx
Thanks girls, good to know it’s all part and parcel of the boob job adventure!
Do u think a guy who didn’t know they where enhanced would be able to tell – a good few months post op?
xx
