Numb, help!

I can’t feel the majority of my boobs or my nipple is this normal? I’m 2 days post op xx

FEAR NOT! my boobs are still numb and i am 21 days post op.

Its normal.

I was told it could take up to 6 months for the feeling to come back x

I’m 7 months po and only just starting to get some feeling back underneath x

I’m 6 weeks & still numb from the nipple down x

Feels weirder when it starts to come back, I feel like I have pins and needles in them all the time – at least while you’re numb the incisions don’t hurt!

Is it possible to eventually get full sensation back? Xx

It’s possible but not guaranteed, they do cut through the nerves/nerve endings to do the op so it’s a risk of surgery but I can’t recall anyone here saying they haven’t got the feeling back at all. I got the top half and nipple back v quickly but the bottom half has been more gradual, it’s not something I tend to notice but when I touch the skin it doesn’t feel fully back to normal yet x
