Numbness post op! WAAAH!

Now my strappings off I can touch my boobies! I have all feeling at the top and round the sides! But underneath and in the middle and my nipple is totally numb! What have you girls had regarding numbness? Have any of you had this and when did it come back? Or hasn’t it? Just wondering whether I’ll feel anything again 🙁 HAAH xxxx

Its really strange aint it hun lol.. the numbness is normal feeling will come back but it can take a while.. some of my areola is numb and all around the bottom of my boobs xx

I’m almost four weeks PO and I also have numbness in my nipples and around the bottoms of boobs but it can take up to 12 months for the feeling to come back, and in some cases it doesn’t. Fingers crossed it comes back! It’s normal to have no sensation/pins and needles feeling as your nerves have been cut and need to repair themselves 🙂 xx

Ah yeah you’ve got the same as me! What I don’t understand and can’t seem to google is (and maybe I got it all wrong hah) but because nipples have milk I’m assuming there’s a tube (?) to the nipple and surely putting an implant in will move this/break it! I don’t know how that works! Hahah!
I hope it does come back it’s so odd! My boobs are still freaking me out just being there let alone not being able to feel them! Hahah! Xxx

No you can still breast feed if you have had a BA as you have milk ducts behind your nipple but they will be above your implant if you get me? I know exactly what you mean, it’s so weird that they are there and you can see them but not feel them (bit like robin Williams in mrs doubtfire when he sets fire to his boobs lol) I’m sure it will come back, try not to worry about it xx

I had numbness for a while.. my nipples were actually very sensitive but the sides and underneath of my boobs were completely numb for about a month I would say! 10 months post op and all feeling fine haha
