numbness/tingling in hand and fingers after ba??????

hey girls im 3 1/2 wks post op and since day one after surgery iv had a tingling sensation and numbness in my fingers on my left hand, the had i had the canula in. at first it was just on and off but its now been constant for the past week and my hand is soooooo weak a cant do much with it, no strength in it at all and im getting conserned now!! has anyone else had this? is this normal? xxx

I don’t know if this is the same but last year I had constant pins and needles and tingling in both hands and all my fingers. I went to my gp and he thought it was because I was stressed and had been breathing too deeply like hyperventalating but without realising. When he said this I realised I had lol and it went away he did bloods as well and they all came back fine. But maybe you should give the nurse a call xxx

i had it day or 2 after surgery but thats it maybe u should go to your docs babes? xx

it is like a tingling pins and needles feeling in fingers but numbness down the side of my hand and its just my left one maybe i’ll give the nurse a call 2mrw, thanks girls xxx

oh i didnt hve this but i think ihad a similar thing in my feet aftermy op for a few days x

well spoke to nurse yesterday and said i need to see my surgeon so got appointment with him tues night, really conserned now though as my hand seems to be gettin weaker hope its nothing to worry about! xx
