Odd question – do you count your surgery day as day 1?

I can’t wait to take my bandages off on day 4 but I don’t know if your surgery day counts? Stupid I know! Or does it go surgery day (yesterday), day 1 (today), day 2 etc

I would personally count 24hrs from surgery as the first day,but im not wearing the strapping so it is easy for me to say,why don’t you give the clinic a ring and ask them honey,they wont mind,at least then you will know that you have kept your strapping on for the correct amount of time,xxx

I took mine off 4 days after, not counting surgery date x

Oh I won’t ring the clinic, they aren’t very good there, no one ever seems to be around to answer questions or answer the phone. Good job they have forum! xx

Yeah I know, I’ve used forum loads and haven’t had to ring the numbers they gave me at all thanks to the girls here!

Yeah, everyone is really great and helpful here! I was using just breast implants forum before and they aren’t so helpful as most of the members are in america and the time difference. Plus they do things differently over there. And you can’t post pictures or see anyone else’s pictures if you are a ‘newbie’. No one knows how you become a member either, you just do when the forum ‘god’ says so! lol. Silly really.

my nurse said from the following day. coz when i went for my post op a week (to time an day) she said “you’re going into day 7 post op”. I had mine at 6pm so awkward time!
