Off the subject of boobs………HOLLYWOOD WAX

I have booked myself in for a hollywood wax on thursday, and the woman told me to take paracetemol half an hour before i go lol, i am bricking it! I am more scared about this than my boob op! Its going to hurt

I have mine done religiously and it doesn’t bother me. I honestly think that having your legs done hurts a hell of alot more!

Just think the worst and I’m sure you will be fine.

Strip wax hurts more so fingers crossed they won’t use that on you.

ive had a bikini wax quite few times now and its not too bad i agree legs hurt more spesh round the ankles Ouch!! lol I once booked in to have it all off i think thats the hollywood wax? or brazillian as they called it and she said rite do you want me to take it off this outer lip area it mite bit bit uncormfortable cause i wont be able to hold that skin to pull so i wa like sod that i want my lip in tact lol! so just told them to go in as far as that area but no more x

it does hurt bu once the first 2-3 strips have been whipped out you sort of have a numb mini! lol. and once u start u cant stop lol x x

ive gone out n bought an epilator now though and it hurts when you first use it but then you get used to it so saves trips to the salon n paying all the time, i think id only go now to have a wax for holidays etc x

Just shave everyday – doesn’t hurt a bit xx

I have hollywood wax hun, they really hurt the first time but u get used to them- more awkward having your legs in dodgy positions xxx

It only stings for a little bit and then goes. You feel lots better after its done and once you start, you will never let it grow again. They remove hair from places you never realised grew hair!!

epilators are great! but OUCH! lol, but like emilyjane11 said, after the first minute or so it goes numb lol!! And you save so much money! x

Hollywoods yeh they can be painful but definately worth it. I am a beauty therapist who has trained in Hollywood with the hot wax.

Hair does not have to be too long.nomore than 1/4 inch, as the hotwax grabs on to the shorter hairs more easier. so if your hair is longer trim it bfore you go.

Yes a couple of paracetamols should help, you are more sensitive around our period time soavoid that if you can.

If the therapist asks you to stretch the skin, stretch tight, it makes the hair come out easier, less painful and less chance of bruising

.You will love the lovely clean feeling afterwards sooo much better, well worth it.

You’ll never look back,it hurts to start with but when the hair grows back its softer so doesn’t hurt as much 2nd time round!! I do my own and its not that bad,I am a trained beauty therapist mind you xxx

Ahh thanks girlies!! lol. I know, she told me i will go in the doggy position so she can do around the anus i was like ermm i dont have much hair there?! And she said, you will have more than you think, and plus it means that its all removed and you will feel great after! I have also had a baby, and yet this terrifies me! haha. I will let you know how i get on xxx

Hun I have had 2 children and didn’t cry, when I had a Hollywood, I wanted to cry with every strip, needless to say i’ve never had a wax since.

yeah ive had a wax a little sore but well worth it and gets easier each time as hair weakens apparently mine is very strong ouchy hehehe good luck but is defo worth it i have all my bod waxed underarms too so much cleaner and neater x

Its a little daunting getting on all fours but its totally worth it and the girls have seen it all before. Just make sure ur clean before u go lol eiww xx

I was googling this last night, I had my 1st ever bikini wax today and it killed! Plus I was on my period so didn’t know that effected it with pain. Also had my legs done too and yes it does hurt round the ankles more haha! Also had my lip done which I thought wasn’t that bad, but when she did that last I can honestly say it is actually the worst! Getting my underarms done on friday now I will deff have more off the bikini area next time as ur 1st time is apparently the most painful xxx
