Off topic but does anyone know any shops selling nice DRESSES FOR TALL GIRLS??

I’m 6ft 2 and need a new dress for my cousin’s wedding in December. Every bloody dress I try on doesn’t fit right, they end up baggy round my waist and tight round my bum and hips! The proportions are just all wrong on my abnormally long body! And to top it off I don’t have boobs lol!

You anywhere near london? i went to topshop in oxford street yesterday and there were some gorge dresses in there yesterday. omg the place is like a cattle market in there though – its like the january sales x 100!!!

Ive always found it rubbish chooses dresses cos before my op i was bottom heavy. Alllll the nicest dresses were backless or those ones where you actually have to have some boobage if you know what i mean – i think most dresses are made for girls with a bit of boobie lol.x

You could try Long Tall Sally or Tall Girls…Tall girls are a bit crap and LTS is quite plain, but they do have some nice stuff pop up from time to time:)

I’m 6’1″ but have 1 inch body and the rest is all longs! lol Still, I have no problems getting dresses…Trousers yes! lol

I usually get my dresses from Jovani, but they are expensive and usually best for big events. Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Next and Gap all have a sections for Tall girls, so may be try them out:)

Thanks guys, I’m near Manchester dondon but there’s a Tall section in Topshop there. I’ve had a quick look online and seen one dress I like from Topshop Tall, nothing stood out to me on Long Tall Sally, there’s just so much more choice when you’re a normal size!

I can normally find trousers in a 34″ leg without too much trouble its dresses/coats/jackets and shoes especially that are a nightmare, I take a size 10 in shoes. Most of my work trousers are Next, coats are Long Tall Sally and Topshop Tall and my shoes are Barratts, trainers are mens lol and got a pair of men’s Uggs!

Googled jovani, some of those dressing are stunning! You’re right though, quite pricey and defo for a big occasion xxx

Bargain! I’ll be about 7ft in them lol but nevermind, I like them!

New look has a tall range to there jeans are up to 36 length, have trousers coats shirts and tops and dress’s but best going to one of there bigger stores or check online xx sam xx
