I am stuck in a dead end office job and hate it, just wondering what everyone else does..?x

i work in an inbound callcenter for a massive insurance company. its a sales role, i hate it, cant sell to save mi life im too soft lol.

got a new job start 12 march in debt recovery – recovering money from people that are in debt. sounds intresting just hope i like it! cant stand doing a job you dont like afterall you sepnd most your life at work, why not enjoy it at the same time!!

Aww, im glad im not the only one who hates there job! Jodes, i totally agree with you, you should enjoy your job at least to a certain extent after all we are here for most of our time! Good Luck in your new role, sounds interesting!

I am currently searching the job sites to find something new lol but like you alli i have rent and bills to meet so cant drop in salary, need more if anything lol!xx

Im unemployed,but looking everyday,worked all my life,surplus to requirement I think it is,after been made redundant last September. I also think although they say age dose’nt matter it does,that’s how I am able to spend so much time here with all of you lovely people,makes me feel useful instead of useless.xxx

Aww Tina, its horrible being unemployed and trying so hard but getting no where! My bloke has just managed to get a job after a long 4 nearly 5 months and it isnt just him it affects it everyone around them too isnt it! I work in HR and although love the job think its time to move on from the company I’m with as I’m not enjoying the role here anymore. It’s something like 2 thirds of your life is spent at work…scary

im a pa for a corporate finance accountants. its a fab company to work for but and i only work 3 days a week so im staying here for now. i want to be an air hostess though xx

i’m a student in my last year of a degree hoping to become a special needs teacher x

I am a jeweller and silversmith and absolutely love it, my studio is at the end of my garden so quite often work in my PJ’s LOL. I also melt glass to make glass beads, plates, dishes and coasters etc. I absolutely LOVE my job.

travel agent, and seriously worried whether i stll will be in a couple of months! i agree tina age does matter, companies arent interested in experience at the mo, as they dont want to pay for it, just take advantage of the naive youngsters.

Its so hard to know whether its better the devil you know etc but i am deffo looking for another job, I figure nothing could be worse than this one lol! I was going to go back to college then UNI but cant afford to not earn a full time wage…back to the drawing board for me lol!

I’m a freelance hairstylist too, just setting up another business too purely for hair up so for the mobile girlies, might need stylists soon hahaha. Gotta say I do absolutely love my job, love the goss, working in some fabulous places and been my own boss.

It must be so hard if you hate your job or can’t find a job, I do talks at the job centre on self employment and when people tell me their stories it makes me feel incredibly lucky. Good luck to everyone

Would love to do other things, what about underwear modelling? I am slender with a natural large rack – but my face lets me down hahaha! Perhaps after my surgery

I’m thinking that too! Bosses just pinch all the money you earn for them! And hairdressing is a hard job too most of the time!

I never thought I could do it but I lost my job and that’s I started on my own. Makes you realise how much money you earn for your boss, now I make it for me and can afford to get my boobies done

Well I’ve just started spray tanning mobile, so trying to get my name out and about at the moment! That will be a good little earner on the side!

Also, in a few months I’ll be looking at advertising myself as mobile hairdresser too!

Your right Sally! Takes a while to get your clientelle jaydeeford but you’ll get there! You’ll be sooo much better off! N apparently hairdressers are the happiest people! It’s all that gossip you hear that makes u realise your life really ain’t that bad after all!! I do semi permanent eyelashes too! I used to do part time youth work too but lost that job with all the government cuts 🙄 xxx

I can’t work at the mo. I care for my son full time. He’s special needs. Before I had my son I worked in a letting agents. Could get boring but some of the people that came in lightened the mood. Some absolute nutjobs, proper crazy people. You couldn’t help but laugh at them. The biggest downside was the stinkers, we had a few a week. I regularly had to leave the room, gipping on the way out. Lol. X

Oooo, i need a change of career lol i do part time homecare to but couldnt do it full time as the hours are stupid, would kill me lol! Mini, like you some of the stinkers etc and the state of some of the houses is vile, turns my stomach lol!xx

I’m a nurse in a GP surgery and love it! Well most of the time. Would really have loved to be a beautician tho! There’s no jobs where I live tho for beauty therapists, I’ll jst stick to nursing for now lol x

I work in my sons school in the coffee bar 5 days a week, he’s only 6 so he is not embarressed yet xx

i got my own little busness, i sell pushchairs, and its great, well its more of a part time thing with 3 kiddies

Im a police officer. Love my job most of the time but its not the best at the moment with all the cut backs but the best bit is definately the people i work with we are like a little family.

I really hope my new boobies are gonna fit into my body armour lol xx
