Am going bac to the family planning clinic tomorrow to complain about the nurse who did it as not only was she yawning and hardly listning to my medical history but did not make me aware of any information bout what to expect after etc :(

Yeah this is all normal hun. It can be very painful for the first few days. Take some paracetamol and it should pass soon. xx

I had it fitted a few years ago, but I’d never had kids so was warned it’s not ideal if you haven’t had kids. It was the most painful thing I’ve ever been through, having it put in, and taken out, all the time it was in I had constant period type pains and pain in my lower abdomen. Some girls swear by them, but it wasn’t for me. If the pain doesn’t go don’t do what I did and suffer it for months, I went and changed to the injection and haven’t looked back!

Yeah I found they weren’t too careful with me either, they failed to mention that if they’re not careful they can catch the cervix putting it in and this can cause you to faint, which is exactly what happened! So embarrassing, and felt like instantly the worst period pains of my life, but my mate has had it and had no probs with it at all. Now you mention it they didn’t give me a pregnancy test either!

Well the problm i hav is i bleed constantly on pill (all pills tken soo many) n the injection, gp sed im producing too much estrogen n if i hav the implant e wud giv me somthin to stop the bleedin, bt e aint done any test ta confirm that, told that to the lady that done my coil n she sed coil as its nt gt any hormones so id lov to keep it in but dnt want thes pains all the time :( xx

Hopefully it’ll die down in a few days, any longer than that and I’d go back to the docs. Good luck x
