Hi ladies, so the time has come where I think I may need to go to therapy for some of the issues I’ve got going on. Have any of you got experience with counselling and could share some words of wisdom?

    Thanks x

I’m only 23 but have been through counselling a couple times due to parents death at young age and bullemia as a teenager and it honestly helped loads. I could talk openly without fear of being judged for how I felt and scared of offending anyone with my feelings. I’d always recommend it as sometimes you just need someone ‘out of the picture’ to talk to and they just listen. Know I’m not a trained professional but am always happy to listen if either of you need me xx

Hey chic, I had council it twice, first time helped allot, second time i think I could have been okay with just a good friend ya know. My boarding school sent me the first time to YMCA the second time it was through my doctor, and due warning, if you go through your doctor thy have give all your details to the councillor, I walked in and the councillor sat there and listed everything I had been through in my life, and I was shocked, as I like to get there in time lol but it was okay :-) xxx

I work in mental health and my best advice is see your Gp first as he/she can refer you to relevant person or service you don’t have to pay for counselling these days I’m a psychotherapist in the nhs so receive referrals from

    Gps x
