migraines with aura i absolutely hate them and every time i get one it freaks me out, i used to get them loads when pregnant and breastfeeding but fingers crossed have not had one in about a year, i feel for those who get them, the doctor told me as soon as you get the funny eyes to take 3 paracetamol and you shouldnt get the other symptoms xx

Hey Sammie, i was the same!!i suffered migraines for years and recently got them 2/3 times a week.. my migraines started in my left eye like a fuzzyness then i would loose my vision, my head then felt as if it was swelling up and i used to get sick.. my head also felt like it had a bowling ball in it and wow the pain was unbearable! i had to sleep it off in a dark room . have you had your eyes tested??? BF suggested i went to the opticians. i laughed and said Nooo i dont need to, anyway the migraines continued soooooo i book an app to see an optician!! BF was “RIGHT” hahaa. i needed glasses!! the migraines were because i was always straining my eyes. xxx Check it out as it may be the reason xx

I get them and it’s always for 3 days, I just get the pain across my right eye and it feels like I can’t open it, I always get nausea with it as well. I can’t even lie down and sleep cos it feels like I have one of those big iron anvils stuck on my head pushing my head down, bleurgh. At first coming off the pill helped cos apparently the oestrogen in it can trigger them, but now I am starting to get them back quite regularly, my tramadol I got when I came back from the hospital triggered my last one, how can painkillers do that lol!!! I have to chop and change my tablets cos my body seems to get used to them after a while. am dreading getting them when I start my new job, they’re horrible. Hope you’re feeling better soon x
