off topic false eyelashes , are they worth it ??

The individual ones? I had them done last year in egypt and it pulled all my eyelashes out lol I had bald eyelids for months! Totally not worth it tbh x

I had them done before a holiday, they look amazing for 2 weeks then odd ones start coming out which makes them look quite un-even, then when you try to put mascara on that buggers them up…

I’d say they are good for short-term such as holiday or birthday/wedding but they don’t last long and get quite annoying as you can’t rub your eyes xx

Try rapidlash it’s about £30 from amazon and it really does work. It doubled the length of my lashes in 6 wks

I am having the lash extensions done on Sat for my holiday, dont intend to keep it up though as it will be too expensive

i had the individual ones glued on by my fully trained friend and same as angeldelight i was left with bald lashed afterwards, i sobbed looked awful. went through it again though as do look lush when on, just prepared myself for the baldness second time round xx

I have them often, even though my lashes are long anyways, I like them longer and fuller. Iv only ever had a small bald spot from them, the individual ones are brill for a natural looking longer lash line, but as the girls have said sometimes they can make your natural lashes fall out too, I’m just lucky so far xx

My friend said the same about hers going bald, what on earth do you do when that happens?! Fingers crossed for mine, mine are just extensions as I think they will look nice round the pool on holiday.

There are two different kinds of semi permanent eye lashes. Ones that last about 2 weeks and are a stalk to a lash with about 5 lashes forked off, these are cheaper about 20 quid and notoriously ruin your lashes. Also when one lash comes off because there are 5 forked off you have a gap too. They are heavy and ruin your natural lash.

The other type are proper individual lashes, genuine one on one lash, if done properly take around 90 mins to 2 hrs to apply, they need to be Infilled around every 2/3 weeks. They cost between 50 to 80 for the initial set and then around 25 to 35 for infills. When one falls out you never notice as only one lash without forks with others on.

I’ve been having the individual lashes now for 2 years without a break quite a few of my close friends do to without problem.

recommend them for holidays and special occasions. look amazing for first 2 weeks then when the individual lashes start to fall out it doesnt look as amazing. Dont go for the cheapest ones, go to good salons because if theyre done well they shouldnt damage the lashes. Always get compliments when i have them done, but i only get them for summer because of being around th pool and not wanting to wear makeup x

Stay away from hollywood lashes … They rip everysingle eyelashe out… The glue is deffo superglue, the only individual eyelashes that i trust r the ones in boots the ‘EYELURE’ range £5 a pack … The glue is not so hardcore xx

I use to get the hollywood lashes but at £50 i couid no longer afford it,Im just usein false lash effect mascara its fab xx

I use The Lash Clinic, they’re very good and come to your house. They use the individual lashes and I can usually keep mine in for about 3 weeks before I start getting gaps, and even then, it’s not that noticeable. Highly recommend them x

I had Hollywood lashes for a year, looked amazing! Took them off about 2 months ago and my lashes are ruined! Short stumpy and growing outwards! Worse thing I ever did to be honest even thou they do look lovely on! I’d rather just stick strip lashes on when needed xx

my friend had hers done by a girl who only charged £20 (as shes still learning) but they looked AMAZING they wer so long but looked really natural like really blended in with her real lashes..amazing!! in the salon near me they charge £80?! surely thats wayy over priced as eyelashes grow out in like 2 monthes!! x

If u want to keep having them and won’t be taking them off then have them done but expect your lashes to be ruined when they come off lol. They do look so lovely when they are on and waking up with massive lashes is brilliant as I don’t look so rough first thing ha but I do regret them as my own lashes are just ruined so I now have to put on strip lashes most days xx

Just random but I’m obsessed with mascaras and tried evrey single make there is lol, always go back to 2 ones the rimmel volume max its pink and its so good! And borjour clubbing one, the brush its so thick I love it! I wouldn’t recommend any of these mascaras if you don’t like the overload lash effect as obviously some people like the thin but long lash look lol, also at first the mascaras seem like there thin then the more you use it the air makes the mascara thicker then you get the desired affect then the more ya use it it thickens out and makes lashes huge x

Oh and also I found the nicest fake strip lashes are girls aloud ones haha sarah hardings ones are really nice and don’t look silly either x
