I use Osmo hair treatment, got it off ebay and is really good, but it doesn’t help it grow just repairs damage. Unfortunately the only thing that helps hair grow is regular trims and keeping it in good condition, according to my hairdresser. I do abuse my hair a bit tho, I used a box bleach and my hairdresser went mental. I am getting her to fix it now!

I know what you mean, I’ve bought every treatment going. I bought a leave in overnight cream the other day, I think it’s John Freida or something, really expensive and ‘doesn’t look greasy’ – well actually it bloody well does so that’s £8 down the drain! My hairdresser used folic acid I think when her hair was going a bit fine and thin at the front and she said it really thickened her hair up, so might as well try anything like that, you never know! Good luck!

Princess is right, all u can do is regular conditioning testaments, something with protine in as that’s what bleach strips from ur hair, and regular trims. Unfortunatly if you have damaged it to breaking point ur better off having a good cut and then start treatments and try and grow it healthy. Xx

Moroccan oil, it’s really expensive but worth it xx

hi hun, im in the same boat as you, i went from long blonde hair to dark and back blonde within 3 mths, ive had to cut it into a bob.

my hairdresser recommended castor oil for hair it conditions your hair really well and makes it grow.

theres some videos on utube about it so have a look.

ive been using it twice a week for a mth plus using a leave in conditioner on my hair overnight once a week.

i also use morrocan oil and my hair is really getting there.

i bought the castor oil on amazon but ive seen it on ebay for £3.

it is really greasy and takes 3 shampoos to get it out but it works xx

Ayshababy is right with the KPAK JOICO, the deep conditioner is amazing! Also Redken and L’oreal Professional range have lovely masks… Leave them in overnight, or put it in your hair and wrap in clingfilm… A high protein diet and cut the carbs also good… The keratin treatments/brazilian blow dry is fab, expensive, but works, didn’t make my hair dead straight, just made it feel like new hair, lasts about 3-5 months… Avoid straightening your hair too unless a special occaision, just clip it back for a few months… Oh, and on boots website, read the reviews for Lee Staffords hair grows faster treatment, everyone raves about it! Redken have just bought out a new treatment to make hair amazing too, google it, 30 day money back guarantee…

    Good luck!!

Thanks cutie pie :) would I be better going darker? I’m naturally dark brown, dyed it black for about 2 years, then had it bleach bathed gradually. I’m now a light brown with lots of blonde highlights … The highlights were lightened right to my ends and ever since I’ve had it done it constantly needs trimming and conditioning.. If I keep trimming and just bleach the roots will it get back to its original condition?? It also feels thinner slightly xxx

    Menu

Hiya, if u just keep having the roots done and not taken through to the ends then it would be fine to stay as you are, just don’t put anymore bleach on the ends as it will snap off! If your still unhappy with the colour then I would go darker get it back into good condition then gradually have highlights but that would have to be a good few months down the line!xx

    Menu

Try cuttin back on how often u have your highlights, if your roots r bad spray with dry shampoo! Try high lift tint too instead of bleach, it won’t go as light but better for your hair. Mine thinned loads with avin highlights, bleach jus makes your hair so brittle. That oil I mentioned u can put that in with bleach, put it on wet & dry hair 2. It’s amazing stuff xxx

Thanks do much for ur help xxx

i had my hair ruined by hairdresser few years ago when they left bleach on too long. my hair was crispy!! awful.

I researched and tried everything i could. well, EGG YOLKS work fab! damp hair, beat up egg yolk and smother on hair. wrap in cling film them warm towel. leave on as long as you can then wash/condition. also macademia oil is fantastic! really recommend that.
