I have a naughty little british bulldog pup who is almost 9 months old, and such a character. came down this morning, gave him his breakfast which he brought up very quickly after. to my surprise he had eaten 2 socks aswell at sum point. At least that explained the missing sock mystery. why does he feel the need to eat this stuff!!. i put everything out of reach after the tea towel episode when i had to take him to the vets after he had eaten a tea towel lol, this dog is making me go grey very quickly.

I also have a french bulldog who use to be the same he’s 18 months old now and compared to my British is such a little treasure now lol.

they are both so strong im worried about how i will cope post op if today is anything to go by, my fiance better step up and walk these 2 as i wont be able to.

I had a flat coat retriever who was terrible for eating socks and those knee high stockings. In fact and this is really disgusting she ate one sock and when it passed through her system she would re-eat it very quickly before we could could get took a while but we finally got it when she was sick with it much to her dismay. Good look with your puppy and op xx

I had a very naughty big American bulldog that would eat anything, literally. I got her at 8 months old, she hadn’t had the best start :-( she was frightened of things like walking sticks, crutches etc. She would cower n try n find somewhere to hide if she saw something similar. We come to the conclusion she’d been hit with items like this before we got her. Poor thing. She ate allsorts, the worst thing she did was eat the wall!! A massive hole at the side of the fire place. The vet told us to get a crate n make this her ‘bed’ when we were out or in bed. Just until she’d grown out of the chewing stage. It was the best thing I ever did. No more destruction and she actually liked it. We took it away when she was around 2.5 years old. She wouldn’t settle. We fetched it back inside n just left the door open. She would go in when we would go to bed n she’d still be there when we woke up. If your dog tends to eat/chew things when your out I advise getting a crate. Saved me no doubt a lot of money in repair bills. X
