Off Topic – Pregnant??!! helppppppppppppppp

I’ve been off the pill 8 weeks now because I had bunion surgery and I am still recovering from that. Last period i had was just over four weeks ago and was bang on time, so i worked out i was due on the friday/weekend just gone. I still haven’t come on yet the past few days i’ve had faint stomach pains and a rly faint back pains but still haven’t come on. I’m worried cuz me n my fella have had sex totally unprotected but that was just over a week before I was due on. I was wondering has anyone else had these faint coming on pains but were in fact pregnant? I know it was probs too early but I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative..do you think its because i’m not on the pill and its completely out of my system my periods have gone irregular? Just want to know why i haven’t come on yet..

Hey huni. If u been on the pill 4 a long period of time and them cum off it it does take a while 4 ur body 2 produce the oestrogen by itself. It happened to me. I was 2 wks late once. Was on the pill 4 5 yrs. If u aint cum on in another wk take another preg test if it don’t show up u r not preg babe. P.s I’m a midwife

Oh thanks hun, yeah been on it for 5 years but what i dont understand is last period was bang on time and i hadnt been on the pill then for four weeks, so that’s why i’m abit concerned because the last one was fine xx

Give it atleast another week or 2 and do another test, those symptoms wouldnt be because your pregnant if you were only due on on friday! also can take a while to come out your system, also stress of surgery or stress that your not coming on can stop periods. I thought i was pregnant once an did about 15 tests lol once i stopped doing the tests an just relaxed knowing i couldnt be preg i cum on the next day, dont panic be calm xx

With both of mine I had symptoms a week b4 my period was even due with my youngest the test come up posative 5 days b4 I was due on so it is possible to get symptoms so early. But chill n relax. Sure ul b fine xx

haha i need something lol and ive got a consultation for my nose job on saturday, and rly wanna book it if i get the finance but my fella whos gonna help me with the payments said he wants to talk about it first..just feel like its never goin to happen xx

Hey hun, with my son i came off the pill, had the withdrawel bleed and then no other periods cos got preganant two weeks later. I got pains like period pains the weekend i was due on and back ache, but now realise that was the baby embedding. The pill is out your system almost soon as u stop taking it, hence why u can fall pregnant by missing one or two. To be sure take a test again in a few days, my early ones showed negative but within a few days i got very faint positives. Hope u get the result your after xx

thats bollocks about being on the pill for years and it taking ages to come out of ur system, if u miss the pill just that one time u cud get pregnant, i had the implant in for 6 years (2 x 3yrs) and then i fell pregnant straight away ! x

I stopped my pill in 2010 after being on it for 9 years, the side effects were terrible I used to get dizzy spells, feeling faint, feeling sick, for a good few months, take evening primrose that helps your hormones rebalance

I stopped taking the pill in October 2008 and been on the pill

For 16yrs so we could try for a baby and I got caught after my second period and I knew I was pregnant wen I was 5 days late!!!! Had pains like period pains and lower back pain. So I would definitely take another test in a couple days Hun. Xx

U should get 1 can detect low levels of hcg like 1st response, predictor or clearblue digital xx

I used 1st response Hun. That can detect it even before ur period is due.

Yeah i got the clear blue with conception indicator and it was spot on, i was literally just pregnant and it picked it up, let us know the result hun x

Ummm dont mean to worry you but I’ve got preganct twice the same month I came on the pill (currently pregnant with second baby) and period pains are normal all through early pregnancy for stretching to make room for baby to grow. I would do a test hun, poundland ones are good and have shown up both times with me when I was 2 days late xx

May aswell do one tomo and put your mind at rest. If it wasnt to show up tomo you could get another one next week (get cheap one they work fine) but atleast you know youv’ve tried. Would you be upset?xx

i think i would have mixed feelings, I don’t think I would be able to keep it but my bf said to me tonight that if i am and i have an abortion he wouldn’t be able to forgive me..I know it sounds dramatic but he even called me a murderer if i did get rid of it..but i’m not ready, but spose its my own fault xx

Hmmm it’s your choice and not fair for him to make you feel guilty if your not ready. Do a test, the sooner you find out the better. I’m having my second due in July (hense my desperate need for BA at the end of the year) and I’m 19 but with me and partner, they were both planned and just bought a house so we’re in a different situation. You will be fine though, don’t worry too much especially until you’ve done a test Get one tomo and then think about it, theres no point in worrying over something that might not even be happening xx

Yeah ur right, and i’m 22 in a week but i know it sounds terrible but i want a nose job more than a baby and i know if i am preggers i will NEVER be able to afford it.

Its not age though it depends on what your doing in your life at the time and if your not ready then your not ready. And none really just being late with period pains but not coming on lol (dont mean to worry you) I didnt get sickness untill 6 weeks this time so not a lot. You would be able to afford it in the end but it takes a lot of being careful with money and a bit longer to save, I’m close to getting to the amount i need for BA at the end of the year and involved lots of being strict and not buying myself random things or clothes It will be worth it though xx

I’m hoping to get finance from MYA, got a consultation saturday. Ive tried to save but it didn’t work out but my fella said he’s gonna help me with the repayments, ive waited soo long for this nose job i just want it all sorting before a baby, house etc xx

Just to let everyone know I took a Clearblue test today and……It came back negative phewww!!! keep getting pains in my stomach so I hope i come on soon xx
