Off Topic – Teeth Whitening Kits?

Anyone use home teeth whitening kits? Which are good? How much are they? and where did you order them from?

I got one of these, it was on offer on that groupon website. It only cost me like 40pounds, i went in and they did impressions for my mouth guards for the top and bottom and then they gave me some gel. I would just put some gel on each tooth of the mouth guard and wear it at night. It made my teeth a little sensitive because of the bleach but it worked pretty well. Ran out of the gel now but i want whiter teeth then how white they have made mine so i am considering zoom teeth whitening now. xx

never used at home whitening but i had zoom, think it was zoom, cost like £400 or summert but id got veneers aswel at the time which cost me a bomb so wasnt too bothered bout the price lol xx

I got teeth whitening strips from a wedding fayre for £30 (they usually retail at £45 for a 2 week course). They’re called Whitewash and you usually have to get them through your dentist as prescription only. I already had pretty white teeth to start off with but found they made them a good couple of shades whiter. x

I would like my teeth as white as Maria’s off TOWIE. Bet she can’t touch a drop of red wine or curry. x

That’s the worry really. I have super strong teeth and I don’t want to weaken them or make them too porous but I do want them a couple of shades lighter. Whitening toothpastes seem to do nothing.

I really want veneers as my next project! Anyone know rough price range?xx

I think you can get them for around £250 per tooth.. I really want whiter teeth, got a good home kit but I can’t seem to kick the coffee!!! My teeth aren’t too bad as they are but bright white would be nice I’d consider veneers when I have the money xx

Whilst veneers look great the damage they do to your own teeth, which you can never ever get back, is a bit too frightening for me. My friend had veneers and she cried and cried her eyes out at how they filed her own teeth down to little tiny stumps before they fit the veneers. And then that’s you for life stuck with the expense of the upkeep of veneers forever. I’d say don’t do it unless you have to. x

The best thing to do is go to the dentist and get a home whitening kit but these can cost over £250. Although that’s just for the first time you go, as you need to have the trays made for your mouth, after that when you run out of bleach you just buy it for about £15 from the dentist.

If you want something cheaper from Boots you can get Vitint for about £30. I used to work at a dentist and we would recommend that to people who couldn’t afford £250, some studies showed it was the best one out there. This was about 2/3 years ago. I used it to see if it was any good, I did just my top teeth to see the difference between the 2 and it really worked. Lots of people commented on my lovely white teeth after about 2 weeks of using it. xx

Join groupon girls as they always have Laser teeth whitening or the normal teeth whitening that normally costs up to £500 and you can buy it off there for between £55-£80 which is fab…..me and all my friends have brought them off there and have gone to high denists….its well worth it.x

Ooh – lisam you’ve made veneers sound quite scary! Lol! My teeth aren’t that bad – just not perfect – think I may just look at whitening…xx
