Oh girlies, I dont know what to do! My PC said that the lady at MYA said that it looked good for me to get a loan with my mummy as a guarantor, as i am a student.
I do work and can afford the monthly repayments but I have to have my mum as back up. It was sure to get approved and now they’re saying that I need to get my mum to send different documents because I might get declined now. I’m booked for the 4th of Feb and I was so so so so excited. If i dont get it now I dont know what I’ll do.
Ive been waiting 2 years for this and I will never be in the financial position I’m in now
Im so worried.
Hope all the post op girls are feeling ok and your healing is going well lovelies…and pre op like me, i hope your process is going better than mine, any words of wisdom would be appreciated. thanks ladies xx
would it be better if the loan was in ur moms name as they may see her as being more financially stable would your mom agree to that?
the fact that they are requesting additional documents is a good sign they have not declined you yet, the additional docs usually are to prove financial stability.
i realy hope all goes well for you but dont give up hun and dont be too upset u have not been declined they are just wanting additional documents – and they just want to ensure you mom can pay the funds im sure if they were going to decline you they would of done that already – just make sure mommy sends all the docs they need. financial lenders do at times request for additional docs i used to work for a bank x x
good luck and dont give up
awwww thank hunny!
Yeah they’ve asked for her savings account docs cos shes got quite a bit of money in there, so i suppose if anything were to happen they can see that they could get the money from her.
You’re right i shouldn’t get too upset until they say a definite no! just a worry on top of wanting to get ready for everything, it’s only 4 weeks away so it’s pretty urgent. eeeeek.
When are you booked in for again? x x
Oh I am worried about this now!
They have more or less told me that the finance is usually available to most people, so if you can afford it & your mum is financially stable then why would they be asking for more info?
I hope I get accepted or I’ll be heartbroken!
Don’t worry chicky poo! Everyone’s situation is different. I’m sure you will be absolutely fine!
Maybe my mum doesnt earn enough or something I dunno, but it’s just rubbish because no matter what my credit history or my mums is i have the means to pay back the money every month!
Dont panic because i’m sure you will get it! x x
fawnlockard88 = as soon as ur mom gives them the correct docs u shud get an answer the next day.
i have my 1st consultant this satd i wanna book for 23rd march hopefully with mr Kazzazi or adamo
let me know ur outcome
Gemma1986 = the extra documents is to prove your financial stability i.e. payslips, savings, bank statements. financial lenders are being more picky about lending money and asking for extra docs to prove its users can afford the finance. x x hopefully u will ok too x x
dawni = what size were u? what size are u now? what implant did u have? do u have pics? i hope u healing well x x
nessy do you think because she’s got a lot of money in her savings account this will help my case? x x
Yes, that should definitely help as they can see one of you has the money to pay for it. Good luck and let us know
yes i wud of thought so because it shows if for whatever reason u couldnt make the payments then your mom cud. if ur mom is a homeowner and they are aware of this then this wud increase ur likelyhood of being accepted x the fact that u have a guarantor is good and banks will see u as less risky and if your mom has lots of money u shud be seen as an even less risk. x x
thank you belle! I will be finding out in the next couple of days so finger crossed. Will keep you all informed. Not sure if you’re pre or post op belle, but if your post hope you’re healing/healed well. Lots of love to you all x x
I’m pre op too. Hoping to get a consultation in Feb and have the op in June. I’m just so nervous and a bit embarrassed lol and I haven’t told anyone yet, I don’t have the guts to just yet.x
They said to me its easy to get, but 2 different people have tried both earning different ammounts of money n declined both
‘(I do hope it turns out good for u, I’m now currently saving and hope to get mine august Sep time good luck to u all xx
Yeh, they make it sound real easy to get! But i got declined also! I’m trying to save now too!xx
I hope you girls get it though!
xx

Ps im paying minenin a credit card. Then i can pay as much/little off as i want per month. Plus dont like finance. So maybe a credit card in ur mams name but u pay payments. Then if u get overtime etc u can pay more off xx
i agree with bchj if u can get a credit card that wud be better cuz u can pay more off if and when u want and u wont be penalised 4 it.
BCHJ = i will defo be ur boob buddy if i can have my op on 23rd March 2011. i will add u – and il keep u informed x

Why do you get penalised for paying more off? Plus I dont think I’d get a credit card for that much as I am a student
my bank would tell me to do one haha x x
Get ur mam to get one. She keeps it/shreds it (im shredding mine) u just set up a direct debit to her account. She pays it. Siiiimples! Let us know how u get on. Personally i think credit cards that are 0% are best as if u get more money from overtime or xmas for eg u can pay more. After ur 0% runs out transfer balance woooooop. Xx
