lol how funny! Was going to have a bath but might wait – don’t know my housemates quite that well should I get stuck!! x
I managed ok in the bath, i had one after two days…i managed to get myself out by manouvering myself onto my knees, and then standing up..it was tricky at first as i am 5’11 lol xx
lol i know now not to tryn have a bath just after my op, im staying with my parents for 2 weeks lmao xx
So funny! I’ve mastered the getting out of the bath. Hope I can explain this. Put one of your legs tucked under you and use it to push yourself up. That way you’re not using your arms. Not kneeling on the leg, kind of like you bend your leg underneath your other one, so that your foot is towards the other side of the bath. Oh bum. Don’t know how to explain it.
And I tend to have a shallow bath then leave the water in, get out and use a jug to scoop the water up and wash my hair whilst leaning forward over the bath. I tried the boyfriend thing, it didn’t work, I do a much better job on my own this way! x
HAha I was the same, but I did what Lisa is trying to explain, it’s all in the legs and stomach!! I had to get my friends / mum over to wash and dry my hair! xx
