oh I have had enough now :-'(

15 days since op and the incisions still haven’t dried out!!!! STILL have iodine strips and dressings on 😥 gutted! I WANT A SHOWER!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else had this problem? I had a full uplift. Peed off is NOT the word 👿 xxx

Hey I feel your pain!! Only a few more days!!!! Have a shallow bath and some bubbles use the shower head for your hair!!!!!! It’ll b over soon I promise. Imagine if you had a shower and opened one of your poor stitch areas or got an infection !!!! Hang in there you can do this. Better to be patient and heal quicker xxxxxxxxx When u do finally shower you will enjoy it even more xxxx

Hun, do whatever it takes to heal. I had an infection for over 3 weeks and it was such a worry. Just have a wash with a flannel over the sink and go to the hairdressers for your hair! xx

I am trying not to worry but they are not healing fast why the hell did I have to get all the bruising etc as well. Really had enough now. It’s so hard and I hate feeling like this because I know, I KNOW, that in a few more weeks I’ll be wondering what all the fuss was about but I am scared they are going to get infected

Mine av been bleeding too nikki, lean over bath to wash your hair, or lie down in shallow bath to wash it. It seems like forever dosnt it. How come y can’t av a shower? Face outwards so water runs down ur ba k. I still can’t shower cos it hurts.

fingers crossed the iodine will dry them out a bit more, got to go back again on Monday night to have them checked again. I’ve still got dressings on not just steri strips Nurse said I’ll probs have to go back again after that too! Thank god the clinics not too far away otherwise i’d be bankrupt lol!

When you are in the shower is it sensitive or does it sting like a cut does? I rekon my nipples won’t like the water! xxxx

Honestly hun, whilst an infection is bad news and really undesirable, as long as you catch it quick you’ll be fine. Any sign of pus then get on to the docs. xx

I had holes with green pus oozing at week six and seven. You don’t want that. Look back on my pics ifyou are wanting to see bruising. Still bruised at week 4/5. The shower doesn’t hurt and they’ll give you waterproof plasters to cover your scars if u ask! Showering will be an option soon just be careful …. Now let’s hear this joke? …..

Ahh I was exactly the same! Took 3 weeks to heal enough to be able to get a shower then after one week of blissful showering I got 3 abcess off the dissolvable stitches!!! Had to go back to being covered for 10 days an NO showering until today! Sometimes people are a bit unlucky an take longer to heal, am sure in another week your scars will be a lot better xxx

The shower hurt cos it was so sensitive. I dint wanna keep goin back to clinic cos it’s 40 mins drive away!! But mine av started leakin n bleeding more, they’re doin my head in. They’re aching like Fook at the mo too xxxx
