OH MY GOD SCAR STILL NOT HEALED!!!!!

Went to see mr Singh and nurse who told me had infection recovered etc then had to go my doctors as was oozing an they said no infection and was clean recovered then been in hospital as not well and took plaster off today to change and incision still open what the f**c I will b 7 weeks on Friday surely they should b healed by now???? Help me I am loosing the plot wouldn’t mind if there wasn’t any pain but sometimes painful HELP!!!!

Hun is it the whole scar or a small part at the end? I had a hole at the end of my scar, still have a bit. It was where I had a stitch that hadn’t dissolved properly. I had yukky stuff come out of it like an infection and then I could see a stitch poking out when I touch it it fell out and then it was bleeding I was really worried. I went to see mr singh and he said it will just close up on its own which it is doing now. Because you had an infection its still gotta heal maybe you had a undissolved stitch too. Keep it clean with antibacterial stuff and keep it dressed and it should start closing up now the infection has cleared. If your worried and it doesn’t begin to close I’d go back and see either mr singh or the nurse again though to be on the safe side. I’m 7 weeks post-op too btw Xxxxx

I think you should call the nurse again honey, to see if they can arrange for you to be seen,if the incisions are still open,you could get another infection,xxx

Thanks reg nice to no I not on my own!! And tina have just left another message so see what happens been cleaning it with surgical spirit and I keeping it covered so fingers crossed xc

i had that too on my knot stitch.. went to my own drs and they gave me antibiotic cream, the stitch came out the next day after a soak in the bath… hope it heals soon for you..xx

When do the dissolvables fully disolve? I can see like blackish sorta things in my incisions? So sorry 2 hear about yours still not healing, also a good thing I was my horses hooves in is hibi scrub and humans can use it on humans 2 its like what they use before surgery x
