Ok to go bra-less?

Everything I put near my boobs right now is irritating them. The nipples are super sensitive, like they are sunburned. The day before yesterday I started going an hour or two without a bra. Is this ok do you think? I’m just over 2 weeks post op x

i would check with ur nurse but to be honest, i woulda thought u just gotta put up with it, find something to take ur mind off of it! xx

i was told by my surgeon not to wear a sports bra at all for the first 6 weeks so im sure that an hour or two a day will be fine. I only wore a sports bra when i felt i needed the support.

the hyper sensitivity should go soon, i suffered with it all over my boobs for about 3 weeks and then one day it just went!

My surgeon said it was fine and I only wear a soft supportive bra when I go out and about. they have healed just fine x

I think it’s fine – some surgeon’s say to wear one and some say not to – it just seems to depend on the surgeon so I don’t think either option can be bad! I wear the bra all day but give it a rest in the evening then put it back on for bed so they don’t start sagging.

What about putting pasters over your nipples or soemthing lol, don’t know if that’d help at all? It might stop the stinging when things rub against them x x
