Hi, I’m 49 and have decided to go for breast enlargement and I’m booked in for surgery on 3rd feb. I’m a mixture of excited and nervous and just wish I could get it done asap. This is something I’ve always wanted but never was the right time until now. Any older women out there having or had this done too? X

Are you happy with the results?
I am a 34B. After having my 2 kids I lost volume and they were never the same. I wear padded push up bras which gives me a C cup which I like. I want natural C cup so I don’t need to wear padded bras. Dr Mileto has recommended getting 300cc under muscle. It’s all happening now and I’m so ready to do this 🙂

    I was a 34B (a small B).

I wanted a natural C/D cup not the round stuck on effect. I had DR Mahdi who gave me the choice of 275/300/325 in the end I went with 325 (there’s not a huge difference in the 25cc) i had mine dual plane.

Other than the tension and ache 😂 I am super happy! I think they’ve given me exactly what I’ve asked for. I can’t wait for them to settle down but even swollen and hard I can see that they’ll be fine once fluffed.

How was your recovery? I have surgery Friday 3rd feb then taken full week off work and due back Monday 13th feb… will that be long enough as I really need to back to work (desk job) . Also what surgical bras did you get?

    Menu

I’m on day 6 currently (operation Friday 20th Jan) and I don’t feel that i could go into work yet. I’m back on Wednesday 1st February but only for one day.
I’m not in pain, just uncomfortable, achy and alot of tension. On day 5 i could put a tahirt over my head by myself. The medication (codine) as helped me sleep but makes me feel awful so going to cut that out tonight.
Are your work aware of your Op? I think you’ll be fine tbh.
I read a forum on here and didn’t go with maccom. I got one from M&S and one from Amazon. They both have been very good so far.

M&s- Flexifit™ Post Surgery Full Cup Bra A-H £19 (they take VAT off at checkout)

My daughter had a cuddle pillow so I borrowed it and it was a godsend and i still use it for sleeping. I do not know how i would have slept without it.

No I haven’t told mine either just hoping no one notices 😂

I’m 39, and having my op in Feb 🙂 I’m going for 325cc round unders. I flip between worrying they’ll be too small, then worrying they’ll be too big and sag! I’m 5’7, 55kg, size 8, and after having children currently a sad looking 32aa! My surgeon has said he’ll lower my crease – not sure if that has any impact on recovery or how it will look once healed.

I’ve got my admission time! 7am on Friday 2nd feb. I really can’t wait now!
So I’m getting 300cc round high profile under muscles. I’m happy with that as I just want a really natural look and I don’t think anyone will really notice as I wear padded bras that make my boobs look quite full☺️. Only my lovely boyfriend knows and he’s been so supportive as is going to be with me at the hospital. I can’t tell my family they will not understand and just worry. Last night I told one friend as I need a back up to collect me if worse case my boyfriend can’t come … she was amazing and said she didn’t think I needed it done etc but I told her this is 100% for me and I just want some vol back after having kids . I don’t want anyone to know … and I’m hoping the results mean they don’t even notice x

    Hi, I’m 48 and going for a BA in feb 15th!!! I’m
So excited! I’m a size 8 & 32A and going for 275cc dual & high profile. Hopefully will be able to fill a 32C! I did the rice in tights trick & popped to m&s to try on ‘future’ bras & found the 32C is some styles too small & the 32D fitted the best!!!
Having kids & BF & running has a lot to answer for lol! I can not wait to say goodbye to my flat chest!!!!

Hello, I am 49 and have my consultation on Friday so I am very new to the process, I’ve wanted mine done for year but was never in a financial position to do so, however now I am I’m worried I’m too old. I am 5.4 67kg (pear shape) as I have a breast size 34b

At your consultation the surgeon will examine you and let you know what type of procedure is right for you. I also felt wary as I’m 49 and so my skin is provably thinner and less elastic but seems all ok for me to go ahead – I am not going big anyway. I just want to plump up what I lost after breast feeding my 2 kids

Hi all, just to say I had my surgery last Friday 3rd feb. I was mr mileto’s first patient. It all went well. I’m
On almost day 4 of post op now and so far so good. I’ve not taken the surgical bra off yet so not had a good look at them. Size wise I’m happy. Boobs are firm and swollen. Pain is ok and I’ve just stopped taking the codiene. Im resting loads as I feel drowsy and a bit nauseous with the meds If you have any questions just let me know. X

Glad it all went well 🙂 I’m on day 18 now and still don’t feel 100% some days but it does get easier! Once you see them too it makes it all feel worth while xx

Thank you. I’m on start of day 6, I must say the recovery has not been as bad as I imagined it would be. Boobs are quite sore, swollen and high. And I felt the pressure / weight on chest a lot yesterday. But I’m off the pain relief and with plenty of rest / lying down with pillows propped behind head I’ve been ok.
I’m planning to go out on Friday afternoon with my bf just to the town centre for a walk.
I’m planning to go back to work on Monday x

How do they look and feel as compared to the first day? Have they softened and dropped a bit?
Are you fully mobile – can you move your arms up and around ok? X

How are you doing now MSNR22? Are you happy with the results? Just over a week until my op, it seems to have come round quite quickly, can’t quite believe it’s happening 😬

I’m doing well thanks. So it’s start of day 8! This time last week I was at the hospital waiting my op. Everything touch wood has gone to plan. My recovery has been ok, it has not been that bad at all. By end of day 3 I didn’t need to take the pain relief ( this is also when I completed my course of anti biotics too).
From time to time I get a few throbbing pains in the middle of my boobs and under wear the scars but nothing constant.
Results wise I am really happy, my boob size is perfect. They are still
Firm and high but I love the fullness and shape (round). I’ve got my nurse appointment on Monday so I’ll get an update on how my scars are doing.
I can see it will take weeks for them to drop and soften and feel natural.

Im on 3 weeks today. The tightness as gone completely they have dropped and softened. However I’ve had 4 days of tingling (sounds nicer than it feels lol) literally I couldn’t towel dry them as they were so sensitive but itbis easing a bit now. Day by day you’ll notice you can move your arms more. And reach for things, push yourself up eyc it just takes time. I got a UTI from the penicillin they gave me so had that to contend with too. But overall i feel ok i go shopping (other people load the bags) but i find myself exhausted. Xx

Thanks for the updates. Are you both driving again? Hope you feel better soon Chelsea.

Good morning, I’m on day 13 now post BA op. I had my first nurse appointment post op on Monday and also went back to the office / work. Touch wood everything is going well. My incisions are healing ok. The nurse said I need to sleep upright for 4 more weeks! And I can drive again by Friday (2 weeks post op). I’m finding the sleeping elevated and wearing sports bra 24hrs a day a pain.
By the end of Monday having been out all day, I was feeling a lot of tightness / stretch / achy and was so conscious about being shoved or bumped into when in crowded places – I feel like I needed a breast shield!
Overall I’m happy with my recovery. Feel quite normal just certain positions cause my chest to ache. I have full movement in my arms too (had that for a while). I can now fully shower too. Next nurse appointment in 4 weeks. Like the look of them but they are still firm and sensitivity is about 60-70%.

    Menu

I drove as soon as i stopped taking codine however i had to make small movements with my arms. I was fully able to drive normal after 2weeks.
I was exactly same shielding my boobs from people incase they caught them! My sensitivity didn’t start while week 2/2.5 and im at 4 weeks now it’s only sensitive below my nipples. But when they were sensitive above i could have cried when i touched them.

Gosh I paid £5500! And that was including a supposed £750 discount. Mine were done in London – 300cc under muscle. It’s been 2 weeks today. I’m really wanting to get stuck in to my housework but I’m scared I’m going to over do it and set back my recovery. I’m also fed up of wearing the surgical bra it’s so uncomfortable so I’m wearing fitted bra tops in between for a few hours. Can’t wait for when I can resume normal activity! .

    I paid £5500 too 🙂

MSNR22 – I didn’t use MYA – I went to re-shape in west malling. Surgery ended up being in the welbeck hospital in London. I couldn’t fault them – the staff were amazing! I’m on day 9. Off to get my scars/boobs checked today… can’t wait to have a shower and wash my armpits properly lol 😂 husband washes my hair atm – not sure who dislikes this process more – me or him!!! X

Andrea, hope you’re recovery is going well. After day 5 it definitely gets easier. I’m just over 3 weeks post op and feeling ok, but right boob is numbish and I have a sharp pain but I am sure it’s going to disappear soon. Mine are natural C cup and they still are quite firm so can’t wait for them to soften up.

I’m about 5 and a half weeks post op. Paid £4400 for breast augmentation and lift in Turkey and £368 for flights. All went smoothly and healing good. Right boob 100%, left boob numb to the touch but hoping that will come back in time. 300cc overs. Feeling more like mine now, will still just take a bit of time. The left has always been the most uncomfortable (maybe they tried all the sizes in ther) so taking longer to settle

Hi, just a quick update. Had my 3 month surgeon appointment with mr Mileto this week and he said they look and feel fine. I had 300CC unders and now am 34D / 36C.
I’m very happy with the results. However my right nipple still doesn’t feel normal (soreness) and still have mild shoulder ache when lift right arm but he said it’s only been 3 months so give it more time and if still concerned return in 6 months for a check up.
I feel totally normal and overall happy with the way things have gone x
