Over the last few days I have become really anxious looking and seeing how some people have been in horrific pain others a walk in the park I’m worried about pain and don’t want to be in lots which is beyond control hoping they will make sure I have the right pain relief I can’t see that paracetamol will work oh lord

Try not to think of the negatives hun i know it’s easier said than done! Hundreds of women go through it every week and even repeat surgery again a few years after their first BA. A few days pain is worth the final result in my opinion, youll be fine 🙂 xx

Hey Hun, I think everyone’s experiences are different and unfortunately some do experience a lot of pain but others don’t so it’s about how your body copes. I was lucky that I didn’t have pain as such and only discomfort but I was expecting it to be bad as knowing me I can be quite a weakling like when it comes to things like my time of the month pain lol even though that’s totally on a different level to having ba so I was pleasantly surprised. That might be the same for you too and think about the reasons of why you’re getting it done in the first place and that will help you worry less hopefully. They will I’m sure give the right pain relief and you can always get something stronger from your gp I think a few ladies have done. Know what to expect and if you know that you won’t be surprised with any unexpected pain but I do hope you have as little pain as possible and have a smooth recovery 🙂

As daft as it sounds the younger you are the better your likely to deal with the pain because your body will heal quicker 🙂 I’ve barely had any pain, just discomfort and tightness for the first three days. Best thing you can do is keep on top of your pain killers 🙂 Good luck ladies!! xxx
