Omg… bleeding:-(

Just had a shower, off to have my hair washed and blow dried in a bit, when drying myself I noticed my left boob has been leaking. It was fine yesterday. I’m 7 days PO and due to have the waterproof plaster thingys taken off tomorrow. Do you think I’ve got a problem under there? Its been feeling tight since day 1. My right boob had a little leak on the first day but not as bad as this one:-(

So worried. Is it normal for your scars to bleed a little? Theyre obviously not completely healed. Hope its not too bad….

i didnt shower for two weeks…youre not meant to get the dressings wet…do you think some water may have gotten in? could be why? i’d give your clinic a quick ring xx

Hey fiblonde I had a lil bit of bleeding at similar time I went to see the nurse n she checked every think but I was told as long as it’s not loads of fresh red blood odd spots r ok or anything discoloured ( green or yellow) that could be signs of infection. Give them a ring if you are worried but it should be fine x

Thanks girls. Mr Adamo puts on waterproof dressings and says youre fine to shower as soon as you want. Just no baths. After writing this post, I went to the hairdressers, and a nurse from mya had seen this post and gave me a call to check I was ok! How nice was that. Well impressed:-)

Anyway, it doesn’t look like its actually bleeding now, we talked it over and I will wait to see what the nurse thinks tomorrow when I go to have the dressings taken off. The nurse i spoke to said the same as you zoe, as long as its not dripping with fresh blood I think it will be fine.

Will let you know how i get on tomorrow. Thanks again, and thanks to MYA for your concerns. Feel much better already:-D

Noo im going brighton to see the nurse cos its closer, but our 6week check with adamo will be holborn we will have to try arrange for the same day so we can go for lunch or coffee or something xxx
