omg i cant even wear my bra

hi girls im 2wks post op n still cant bare anything touching me, feel like my boobs have been scalded n anythink rubbing against dem is pure agony, any 1 else feel like dis, n any ideas how long its lasts 4, am back on co codamol cos so so tender xxx

Aww Hun that’s sounds awful. Mine are really sensitive too but it doesn’t sound anywhere near as bad as yours! Had to go and buy a different bra today coz the one I had was not comfy at all!

hi hun, how u gettin on hun, went back 2 work weds, but felt so miserable cos this sensitivity is unbareable, but stuck it out, jus hoping will feel bit better by next wk, ive not been able to wear a bra while im in d house at all, jus hope it doesnt make dem sag or anythin, i took steri srips off yest n my scares r healed perfectly barely a scare der at all, n had no bruisin jus dis feeling its drivin me mad xxxx

Hey royle sorry to hear it’s uncomfortabl what bra r u wearing? If any when mine were like that I found a slightly padded bra better as it took away that rubbing feeling. I got one from tesco for £6 n it’s a seemless cup so nothing rubbing on ur nips. Give it a go if u haven’t already. It will gett better I promise xx

Hi hun im the same feels like ive got bad sun burn all over but it still feels numb (hard to explain) its under my armpit aswell trid putting some cream on the top of my boobs last night but it hurt too much hope it goes soon for both of us

im 11 days po at the mo thouht it would be getting easir by now

Hey hun, my surgeon said that this feeling is the nerves reconnecting and that rubbing or gently massaging bio oil/whatever into the skin helps to get normal feeling back. I’ve also been having that awful sunburn feeling, and I’ve been massaging bio oil twice a day and I think it’s helped. I’m 17 days p.o now. xx

aaargh thanks girls will defo give d bio oil ago, was a bit scared 2 use anything on dem after 2wks but if d surgeon said its ok will defo start 2night, n Gnats will defo give d bra ago 2 cos am scared it might do sumthing 2 dem not wearing 1 so much, need to keep it on another 4wks yet, AAArgh lisa its awful its so hard to explain 2 any1 but yeh its like sunburn n u skin is really tight its awful, really hope doesnt last 2 long, but at least if were d same dats a gud thing it must b normal, keep me posted how u r hun xxxx

Royle, this is called Hyper sensitivity. I had it for about 2-3 weeks (i think, op was nearly 2 years ago) and it was probably the worst part of having my boobs done!

I totally feel for you!

There’s nothing that will make it go but try cold things on it like a damp towel ect (it may work, it may not)

Good news though, it will just go. I woke up one morning and it was gone. At the time of my op there was quite a few girls on here suffering from the same thing and everyone seemed to say that it went and it went all at once.

aaargh thanks jojo, i least its normal den so dats gud,n i agree i havent really sufferd pain its jus this unbarable feeling its driving me mad,ive been really lucky wiv d bruising n me scares its jus dis if i never had dis i wud have been fine after 5days, but this has lasted about 10days of it n its so uncomfortable n u cant do anythin bout it, how r u hun 2yrs bet uv 4got all bout all of dis now lol, bet u feel fab hun xxx
