OMG…I've pulled back my dressings to have a peek…..

They’re all lumpy & 1’s bigger than the other, I’m only 9 days po & go to the nurse tmrw to have everything taken off but is this normal??xxx

Mine are the same 12 days post op. Totally normal I’d say xx

Totally normal! The lumpiness could be something that’s called over granulation, it’s when your body produces too much scar tissue but don’t worry it will go down just give it time, and the length of scar won’t matter soon, as your boobs drop to a more natural position you probably won’t be able to see them xx

Totally normal,you will be surprised how how they even out and improve over the next few months,don’t worry.xxx

I was shocked when I looked, they look fine with all the dressings on! I’m just scared now that I’m gonna hate them wen the nurse pulls everything off later xxx

Try and remember they will get better with time! They will fade and smooth out!! Stay positive and remember what you were like pre op xx

I know yeah I think I just thought that they’d be perfect wen all the dressings came off. It’s everyone elses reaction I’m scared of too! My boyf just looked last nite n said nothing, which kind of said it all! Yeah will let u know wat they really look like later xxx

I daren’t pull mine off and have a sneaky peak, I rekon i’ll bleed shit loads tomorrow eeeekk!! I am dreading seeing what my nipples look like to be honest, I just hope they are smaller, even and level as they can be! 😯

Have you bought anything to put on your scars whe you’re allowed too? xxx

Even though your dressing look manky, when they come of you probs won’t bleed much at all, i had one dressing looking just like yours and when it came off it was actually really clean! Try and stay positive ladies! Keep your chin up! Xx

i had my tape and dressings changed on monday and my scars are small and will luk neat i think when ther healed but mine wer bit lumpy but nurse said it was normal and that i can ahve a propper shower and get them wet as of tomorrow yaayyy! lol x

im fine thanks! back at work tho today lol but to be honest the worst thing about a ba isnt the pain it was not been able to do owt or go anywer for few days lol so not that bad to be back its nice to get away from daytime tv its soo sh*t!! x

No I’ve not bought anything for the scars have u? I don’t rate bio oil, my friend is a doctor n I no u can get really good stuff on prescription for scars but it’s really expensive so gonna c if I can get sone of that!

Im sure you will get a nice surprise hun and if they do look bad just remember you are still early days and your body will be healing all the time xx
