omg omg omg BA in 2days…. i have questions!!!

this may sound stupid and a bit crued but i feel like im about to ‘come on’ which is bloody typical! but will i need to imform them at the hospital? also i have the contraceptive implant, will the antibiotics affect it like they do the pill? and are they realy serious about no deoderant on the day? i really dont wana be stinkin

Hey Rachie, i had my period when i had my op done and that was what i was most worried about, in the middle of the night i had to get the nurse to help me to the toilet as i was in lots of pain and was attatched to a drip and had drains in, i use tampons so was able to sort that out but was not able to put another in and the nurse was lovely and got me a pad but i felt so embarressed, in the morning i was taken off my drip and they removed the drains and i was able to go to the toilet unaided which was a relief, as for deoderant i think its just so your totally clean and there is no risk of infection, to be fair i put a little bit of a roll on because i would of hated to be smelly as i had a 2 hour drive to the hospital. good luck xx

Implant is fine its only the pill that interacts!!you shouldn’t put deodrant on at all!just have a shower before u leave and u cn put it on after ur op xxx

oh no dont say that… no deodrant lol, i think i mite be working all day before i get checked into hosp on the 25th…that wldnt be gd lol!!xx

they say no make up! i have to say obviously i wouldnt wear foundation or anything like that but i cant go wothout my mascara!! lol

i did it! cant remember the last time i left the house with no make up but i did it! haha i look about 12 with my make up on. im supprised they did i.d me before my op haha x
