OMG only 1 day to go,…

Have my op booked for the 15th with overnight stay, and looking for last minute tips and pointers to what I should bring/expect.

Have got the usual essentials, pj’s, toiletries etc, along with Ipad(nice and light), bio oil and sports bra. Fretting a little bit, as I cant seem to find a bottom front pj’s i like (refuse to look like a nana!!), so may just snooze away in gown?!

Any tips and reassurance would be gratefully received

Oh my god, I wish I was you!! How excited must you be right now?! I can’t find any nice pjs either. My date’s 15 March so I’m afraid I can’t help with what you need. Although I’d think you wouldn’t need to take your bio oil in with you as you won’t be able to put it on for a few days. x

I am most deffo going through all the emotions right now thats for sure!!! Re bag; Its a case of, the less i need to take the better, so will take bio oil out if not needed.

In a months time, you will probably be just where I am now,…lol

dont worry about your pj as when you get there they make you put on a gorgouse gown with some lovly white stockings you will look fab hun lol, as long as you have a dressing gown and some slippers,a magazine, wash stuff, a top thats front fasting to go home in you will be fine hun, good luck x x

Eee I will. Have you got your baby wipes packed? And one of the girls says if you take in cotton knickers you don’t have to wear the paper ones. x

Yeah looking forward to the gown and socks, I will be uber fashionable Just going to do my nails now, going for clear acrylics, mega mega short. I cannot go without, and have had GA a few times before and its been ok, as long as no nailpolish on (and same with toesies, no polish).

No babywipes yet, will grab a few along with cotton knickers, in case I can get away with it,..lol

Hey tweetiebird. How excited must you be right now!!! I wish i was in your position, I still have 9 whole week to wait. I was told you weren’t aloud falsies on because they need to look at the colour of your nails while your under and they can’t view them properly with acyrlics?? x

hey tweetiebird, I had my op on Thursday and I was the one who was told that cotton knickers were OK to avoid having to wear the paper ones! To be honest, I brought pjs with me, but I never wore them, just slept in the gown. I was too sleepy after the op and really didn’t care what I was in! You won’t need the bio oil straight away.

Where are you having it done? You will be fine hun, don’t worry. I was so nervous on the day but I was so well looked after and it was all over before I knew it. Any questions at all, just fire away xxx

Fairydust, I am sooooo excited and a little scared too!! I’ve had 4 GA’s in the past and always gone under with my falsies, so will use clear acrylic and should be ok. In the past I’ve used pink acrylic, and its been fine:)

They can still monitor colour of nailbeds on toes if required,..Im gonna continue my rebelling of falsies!!!

Oh sooooo good to know. I read the manual as well and it said no false nails, no make-up, no false eyelashes, no moisturiser, no fake tan. I was thinking great I wear all of them im gonna look like a right minger lol. At least I now don’t have to remove my nails. Was dreading that after having them on for over 10 years.

Does anyone know if you can get away with a LITTLE false tan on your face? I mean, how they gonna know if it’s just a teeny bit??

I’m feeling really nervous but so excited at the same time. I can’t believe that this time next week I’ll have my new boobs.

Yes Highgate on tuesday,…Are you staying overnight?? Getting very excited indeed, cant wait to see my new lovely puppies. I am not worried about boobgreed, more worried that I will be too big after, and I am only having 380’s LMP.

No I’m a daycase, booked in at a hotel close by. It’s a really odd feeling I’m nervous about the operation but yet feel so excited about my new boobs. Maybe I’ll see you on Tuesday the hospital is only small I think.

Thank you khanni, it’s the going to sleep I’m concerned about. I rode my horse for the last time for 6 weeks today, he’s gone to boot camp so I can recover. I feel a bit like I’m going on holiday only instead of coming home with a tan I’m coming back with bigger boobs!!
