Omg sickness all night!!

Hi girls, had my ba on weds and have felt fine apart from the stiffness till last night!! Came over all shaky and shivery last night so went to bed and slept on and off (which is prob due to sleeping upright) all night till about 6 and I haven’t stopped being sick since then!! Rang the emergency nurse and shes said to stop taking the painkillers and antiinflamortries they gave me and to take paracetamol and ibruprofen instead but she was really shocked when I told her I hadn’t been given any antibiotics an then kept asking me about infctions I.e are my boobs hot and swollen which they are but I thought this would be normal. Got to wait till the clinic is open at 9 to speak to another nurse!! Hope I hvent harmed by boobs by all the reaching!! They are hurting like mad now

Don’t panic honey,some people are sick from the GA,they must have worried about harming their boobs too,you should be fine,we tend to worry more because we have just had surgery,try and rest as much as you can, the nurse will tell you what to do,big hugs, let us know how you get on,hope you feel better soon.xxx

oh hun, you poor sausage! i cant believe they didnt give you anitbiotics after the op! dont worry, you shouldnt have done damage from being sick, lots of people are very sick afterwards so i think they are well prepared for that. Im glad to hear you are going in today to see the nurse. Good luck with everything & let us know how you get on x x x
