Hey girlies I’m going to my 1st consultation on Wednesday, I wanted someone to come with me but none of my friends or family are available except my dad who isn’t even to KNOW about my BA so I’m going alone…..I’m scared of going myself because I don’t want to be led on like a fool about anything they say to me, but also because if they quote me much more than £3900 for the op I’ll be pretty much screwed coz I can only afford £3400 and have the £500 discount offer…if they charge me too much for me to be able to afford I’ll actually cry :‘(

What I wanted to know is what kind of questions did the rest of you ask? What SHOULD I ask? What did the person you met with tell you? What did you do? What was your overall experience on your 1st consultation?

Will they still do the surgery on you if theres a 200% certainty that you WILL start crying your eyes out at the surgery? I have a phobia of needles…..

You’ll be fine hun, I’ve been to two initial consultations now (long story!) and the patient co-ordinators are lovely. They’ll tell you lots of things and sort you out with meeting your surgeon as well. They shouldn’t ask you for the deposit there and then cos my pc said she’d rather I waited a week just to be sure it’s what I wanted before going ahead. She should be able to give you an idea of price as well. Do you live nearby to one of the hospitals or could you get a hotel nearby? If so you may be able to be a daycase which is cheaper and might be worth mentioning to your pc? Good luck babe I’m pre op too and just want the whole process to be done and have new boobies now!! Soz for the essay! xx

Hi darling, i went on my own its not a big deal and i am always a nervous wreck! lol

the deal the offered me was

    £4250 – over night stay

    £3850 – Day case

i choose to go as a daycase as i live 5mins away, with the £500 voucher, i paid £3350, that is well within your budget so dont worry!

the only thing that makes it more expensive, is if you go really big, the implants then get more expensive…

I live literally like 28 minutes drive from the clinic AND the hospital so I think I’m JUST within the cut-off distance for being eligible for a daycase. Thanks for tryna make me feel better girlies, I’m always a nervous wreck, right now just wanna burst out crying! I’m sooo silly lol. The money you’s paid makes me feel better too :P yey! I’m sooo happy now! xxx I only want to go from an A/AA to D cup….is that really big? in terms of will it cost me more?

    Menu

Aww that’s ok then :) And nah you should be fine to get to a D and it won’t cost you anymore, I think they start charging you more if you go bigger than about 525cc’s? Correct me if I’m wrong ladies! :) xx

Another problem I have is how to tell my dad……………I mean he’s GONNA find out at some point! lmao! I really don’t wanna tell him coz I know he wont like it, obviously……He would never try and stop me because he knows I’m 19 and old enough to make my own decisions, and he won’t like disown me or anything but it’s kinda like when your parents have to have the “talk” with you and when your parents like find out you’ve just started getting your period etc. lol it’s like extremely awkward…………..and weird and I know he’s all about not doing “stupid” things with your money, and he’ll think this is deffo stupid lol. I don’t blame him for not understanding but I’m just so nervy to tell him….

hey bexepie… im only 22 and stil living at home, was petrified about telling my dad cz hes really against cosmetic surgery etc, but when i told him i was surprised how understanding he was, at the end of the day no they cant stop u, and if its your own money and willing to pay it then they must realise how much it means to u. its not like youve already gt a big size boob and want to go massive. its just hard for men to realise how different boobs make u feel and give lack of confidence etc, especially a dad to understand! but im sure he wil come round to it. iv stil got 4 week to go before my BA and my dad has known since i put my deposit down about 4weeks ago, each week he gets better :) we stil dont really talk about it, his way of dealing with it is just making the odd joke every now and again.. which i dont mind! hehe. so dont worry hun, will all be fine :) and if your in the manchester area i woudnt mind at all coming with u for support to your consultations if i was free! xx

Lol thanx chels. I’m going to the brand new Glasgow clinic, one of my friends MIGHT be able to come with me, but she hasn’t told me yet :( and I doubt she WILL come lol. Yea I still live with my parents too…I’m a full-time uni student too so I have to wait til June to get my surgery :/ just coz I’m too scared to miss any uni work or exams etc.

hi bexepie, i had my first consultation in glasgow on tuesday. my bestest came with me, even though she doesnt agree 100% with what im doin, i love her dearly for that. :o). so far only my husband and three very close friends know what im doing, and all u lovely ladies of course, lol x. was so nevous as we went in. the woman, victoria, was really nice. my surgeon is to be ben, victoria said everyone just calls him ben.

dont worry about ur friends and family finding out, cause when they see how happy u’ll be when u get ur new boobies, thats what’ll bring them round if nothing else. good luck babes. xx
