One boob is more swollen than the other is this right?

Hi girls, I had BA on Tuesday and have found that my left boob is really tight and swollen compared to the other……………..its really uncomfortable. Has anyone else had the same prob and do ice packs help with the swelling?

hey hon, please dont worry i also had this. treat each boobies as a separet operation, as they will both heal at different rates.

Hi Aaminah had mine done wednesday my left one seems more swollen that the right today too.

The nurse at the hospital put ice packs on mine, it helps with the discomfort, not sure if they do anything for the swelling, i have been using ice pack every few hours since getting home but they are still v.swollen and hard. :beard:

Hey girls……….hope your recovering well. I spoke to the nurse today and she advised me to use my left had to do things as she said that the gentle movement will help the pain. So I have been using my left hand to eat and brush my hair, wash etc and it has actually helped a bit. still v swollen but not as stiff as it was earlier. she told me to use ice packs and also sit upright. I just want to be back to normal and hate feeling like this.

yes its all fine!! you will find one will heal quicker than the other!! i had mine done 4 months ago, i had implant and uplift and even now one is healing quicker! X

Omg! I hate feelin lyk this! Ahh! My nurse stil hasnt rang me n I had it done on wednesday, I thort they were supost 2ring u the day after?x

hey, i read that loads of girls have used ice packs for the pain and swelling and it seemed to make them more comfortable, i didnt use them only because i didnt have one and had no peas in the fridge otherwise i would have!!ha

Mine are like that too! Had my op yesterday and the left is definately more swollen than the right. Don’t think I could face using an ice pack in this cold weather though! x
