One breast bigger than the other!

Had my consultation with the surgeon and was told that I have one breast slightly bigger than the other so am worried that this will become more noticeable after the op. Apparently this is quite common but has any one else had this???xx

Hiya, I am seeing Dr C end Feb & my boobs I think are quite different in size also… Think it is quite normal… A friend of mine had her op & yes one is slightly lower because of this but only she really notices.. Hope this helps?

I have just had my op yesterday with Mr Traynor to correct assymetry i had a cup size difference, I had 2 diff implant sizes 495 & 370. once they have settled they should be the same size. If you have a noticabe difference your surgeon may also recommend different implants. xxx

Yes asymetrical breasts is totally common and normal. I had one breast bigger than the other, I had surgery last week, BA & uplift, I had tuburous breasts also. I had 260cc in one breast and 300cc in the other. The breast where I 260cc is still slightly swollen at the moment as I had excess skin which was removed and my breast was tightened and sewn underneath. It’s hard to tell whether they will both be symetrical after I’ve fully recovered but I think they will by the look of them now a week later. A surgeon will be able to determine from your consultation as what sizes you will need for both your breasts to be symetrical. Don’t worry you’re in good hands girls xxx

Hi Hun, I had that too! Just had my op today and in my hospital bed now! Boyfriends just left and I’m watching embarrassing bodies! Don’t know if it’s a good idea haha!

Very happy so far – I had 36d and a 36e had uplift and 360cc low profiles. To be honest they don’t look much bigger at all! They do feel hard tho! So worth it tho hun!

Michelle can’t wait to see ur pics!!! I have only ended up with a scar around my nipples and down the boob – none underneath and they are so neat! Did u sleep much ur first night? I feel a bit weak with my arms – I can just about go to the loo!!! X

Hey melissa!! Ah it’s so good to hear from you!! A huge congratulations on your new boobies!! How was it honey? Yes they will be hard for a while, mine a still hard now but changing every day! First night no I didn’t sleep all that well, I was just uncomfortable sleeping upright!! Yes arms are really achey aren’t they!! And going to the loo is a real pain!! Make sure you have your loo roll in your hand before going, stretching can be a pain!! You’ll prob feel like that for a few days, but it does get easier. Whatever you do honey DON’T attempt to lift anything for a few days, take it really easy honey! The forums are working now so I’ll update more pics soon. Ah I’m soooooooo happy for you!! Well done you, what time did you go down to surgery hun? You staying over? xxx

Yes I’m staying over – I was told I had too! But I don’t mind cause the nurses are so lovely! They get me food, biscuits, tea, drugs, help me to the loo!!! Lifesavers! Plus made my bf very comfortable!!!

I arrived here at 7 and was in theatre at 10.15 – didn’t get back to my room till 2!!! woke up in mg Macon bra too!!!

I having thankfully got my v pillow here which is great and I have some really sexy long socks on!!! Not! With vibrating bandages round the bottom of my legs to stop swap vein thrombrosus! They are a bit annoying!

How have u been today? Are ur arms feeling better?

I am so happy it is all done! I couldn’t stop crying last night and this morning but so happy it’s all done now! Just gotta rest for 2weeks! X x

Ah I can’t stop laughing at your post, about the nurses getting you food, biscuits, tea drugs etc!! Wow you had vibrating socks? I didn’t!! Wonder why that is then? Ah well. I’m a lot better today thanks honey, I cleaned my bathroom, did a bit of dusting in the lounge…took me ages because I was taking my time lol… My bf was in work today 12 hours so I thought I’d give him a break because he’s done so much for me this last week bless him! My arms are not as achey anymore, (8 days post op now!!). Every day breasts are changing, can’t wait to see your pics either! I can’t update any tonight bf gone to bed and I can’t find the thingy to transfer pics from camera to laptop…I’ll update pics tomorrow evening now… You have plenty of rest and sleep…congrats again honey!! xxx
