One breast considerably larger… Please help ?

Hi everyone! I am new too all this, I didn’t even have my surgery with MYA, I just can’t find anyone else for support and don’t want to harass my surgeon just yet!

I had breast implants 18 days ago, 410cc under the muscle. Since day one my left breast has always been the most swollen and high up but I was OK with this as it is normal! Even though I’m right handed and it’s usually the side u you use the most, but I just ignored it. Anyway, 18 days on and it still looks exactly the same. My right breast has dropped slightly and I really live the shape etx and it is softening up now. But I just want to cry when I look at my left breast. I am still wearing my post op bra (I have another 4 weeks left) I wore my strap religiously for 2 weeks like the surgeon told me to and I have been doing my massages now for 5 days. I will attach a photo, I’m just wanting to know if this is normal or should it have changed at least slightly? Should I ring my surgeon? I compare post op stories to mine and people’s seem to look so nice and I know it’s early days but why does kine still look like this?

I’ve not had my op but have seen girls go through the same with their journey. One girl was very worried as even after four weeks they were still rather different in size but it all evened out by 6 weeks.
There are so many changes that will happen in the next 6-12months so I definatley wouldn’t worry! I’m sure it’s easier said than done but it’s the best advice.
I’ve also read a lot of girls say that both breasts have had an individual op, therefore you need to treat them differently as each breast will recover at different rates and drop differently.

Try not to worry too much hun it is still very early days. It took a good couple of months for my left to catch up with the right. Xx

I hope that’s the case for me, I have seen someone go through what I am at the moment and she had to have reconstruction surgery and I guess I’m just panicking! I have my next appointment on the 27th so I will talk to my surgeon then if things haven’t improved. X

Oh gosh! I can completely understand why you’re worried. I imagine she was very unfortunate and wouldn’t expect the worst. I tagged you in someone’s post who had a noticeable difference in size and it’s all worked out for her – hopefully my tag worked!
What did your nurse say at your 1 week post op? Was there any difference at that time? Xx

Did your nurse or surgeon tell you to massage? Because your not meant to until your 6 week check up as they are still healing and getting in place and this can affect it. Also don’t worry about one being much bigger, is it painful though? Especially when you touch it? I’m 10 weeks and my right hasn’t dropped still x
