One week post op and not recovering well :(

My left arm and boob is fine and my right was a little more sore but now it’s really sore in my chest shoulder blade arm pit and my arm tingles. I practically can’t use my right arm anymore. I thought if was getting better but now it’s worse again. Every one else seems to be doing well one week post op. starting to regret ever getting it done.

Aww have you had your one week check? Keep up the high protein food and lots of rest and painkillers hope you feel better soon xx

Have you had your week PO with the nurse yet? Make sure you let the nurse know how you are feeling. I didnt find the recovery great either – I’m now 19 days PO and feel fine. It wont last forever xx

Hey hun, sorry your feeling so rubbish, maybe you have some nerve damage, i think that cos u mention tingling. But if that was the case it usually resolves and hopfully this is just the storm before the calm for you. Honestly soon you will be over this and sooo glad you had your new boobs done. Have you contacted your pc? Or maybe the nurse, i would give them a call just to pass it by them xx

Thanks girls. I’m not through mya so don’t have a pc. Think my mam and dad are going to take me to the private hospital tomorrow to get checked out as I don’t get post op check for another week. I’m such a worrier and it’s stopping me sleep thinking that it could be worse than it is. I’m just on paracetamol ATM I think the codeine was making me sick x

Hi hun what company did u go through? Is there an emergency numbers u can ring for advice on any paperwork, Or get in contact with the admin person that booked you in and organised the procedure.

Let us know how the check goes tomorrow, everyone recovers differently so it could just be that. Think positive x

aw honey im sorry ur feeling so crap u hav to look at is as if it cant get worse.. u should get any worse y should only get better. maybe it seems worse again cause u were expecting it to get better quickly if u no what i mean. everyones different babe..i felt awful for 5 days as u no and all of a sudden 1 morning it was 10times better. dont worry babe that will happen soon just hang in there. when ur on a beach looking amazing in ur bikini its gunna feel so worth it all. hooe u feel better soon .. u will!! keep me updated xxxxxx

Thanks for the support girls. I’ve woke up today feeling a lot better. I stopped my pain meds pretty early on post op so I’ve started taking more again. I think I pushed myself a bit more than I could yesterday as my left side is completely fine I think I keep trying to use my right arm the same and that side still has some healing too do. I think I’ve just pulled the muscle, feeling much better today so didn’t go to hospital. Fingers crossed I’m even better tomorrow cause the pattern has seemed to be bad day good day lol. Xxx
