One week post op. Left boob help?

Hi girls im one week po and my left boob is still high and has some horrible pain right on the side of it. Feels like a bruise when I poke it ( but im obv not poking it lol) Thats the only pain ive had up to yet. Normal? Xx

Babe I’m 12 days PO and iv had all sorts of pain, swelling, burning etc! I called up and they said it’s all part of the healing process. It’s a big operation so will take a while. And remember it’s 2 separate operations so that’s why one may hurt and feel different to the other. Im sure you have nothing to worry about, but if in doubt give mya a call xx

Hi Nikki I have the same thing in my right.I guess when we feel normal with very little pain we forget we are still healing internally. I thonk its normal.mine have started itching like crazy too xxx

HI Nikki, this is quite normal , Like Emma said you have to treat each boob as two individuals they are separate haha! you have nothing to worry about your so early on, give it time you will see! xx

Hi @nikki in my second week I developed pain, mostly in my right boob, it felt really tight and uncomfortable! I was paranoid i had capsular contracture :-/
So I rang my nurse and got an appointment to get checked over and everything was fine! Felt so much better when she reassured me!
I think it’s all just part of the healing process.. You have to treat each boob as a separate operation and I was told I will have more pain in my right boob as I am right handed! (Using the muscles more)
Don’t panic, if you have any doubts at all ring your nurse and ask for advise or go back and see your nurse.. That’s what they are there for 🙂 they have to heel on the inside as well as the out,
