U cannot do physical exercise that gets ur heart rate up because of blood flow it can mess up ur healing.

Having a ba is an operation that puts actual trauma on the body like any other operation despite it being for cosmetic reasons.

On ur pre op notes it will tell u exactly how long u have to wait for exercising and it’s usually 4-6 weeks. After 7-10 days u should be ok to go for a gentle walk but bare in mind ur healing still. If u have strapping it’ll be hot and itchy plus ur chest may feel tight or heavy with ur new boobs. It took me a few months to feel like they were a part of my body and not an extra weight

In my first few weeks it felt like I had two bread loaf sized tins of tuna strapped to my chest so exercise was the last thing on my mind personally.

Ur main.fixus should be to recover without compromising ur surgery that you’ve paid thousands for. It says on ur paperwork and details the importance of this. If u work out too soon u run the risk of a whole load of post op issues that could be easily avoided. All of the surgery is insured ny the surgeon performing it but if you mess up ur boobs post op they have the right not to re do them for free cos u never followed the advice given on the paperwork.

Not meaning to scare u hun but it’s important u know ur healing comes first. Fx

Ur welcome hun just see how it goes! Honestly I wasn’t in any pain just discomfort feeling with the tuna tins and tbh I’ve been so scared to mess up my boobs I’ve not been to the gym yet and I’m nearly 7 months post op 🙁 I’ve gained weight which I don’t mind as my body is in more proportion to my boobs… so don’t be a scaredy cat like me once u get the all clear to exercise. Just don’t start going crazy a week or two post op! The weight of these girls are so real! And dont even get me started on boob sweat! My God! I swear 90 % of my body sweat now comes from my boobs so invest in sweat reducing crop tops and workout gear when u get back into the swing of things! All the best hun fxx

@myboobjobjuly17 if experiencing leg pain speak to ur nurse to double check to put ur socks back on. I had this issue and also got tablets to help.

Walking for a short distance is fine post op to help circulation but as I said running or anything that gets the heart racing is a no go.

Remember lots of protein and fresh fruit and veg to aid healing
