Op cancelled for the 2nd time

I knew I shouldn’t have got my hopes up again. My op, meant to be tomorrow, cancelled again for the 2nd time. Mr Aurakzai has had to go back to Pakistan due to mitigating circumstances. Oh well. I’m now having Helena on Tuesday. I really wanted Aurakzai.

If it makes things better ive heard some great things about helena and ive been to see her for a consultation and she was lovely must be so frustrating when uve waited and been messed about but if what ive heard about her is rite ul be fine and will be worth the wait x

That is so awful – they obviously done understand that its not as easy as changing the day, you need the time of work for starters!!

Alison, hope to see you Tuesday but I feel for you as I’m a jinx. I’ve told my PC to get Helena wrapped up in bubble wrap, don’t let her eat anything dodgy and keep her family safe. Cos god knows, I can do without something happening to her and it getting cancelled again.

I really wanted Aurakzai because of the glue he uses. I know nothing about Helena. I’m being picked up on Saturday to travel to Manchester to meet her. x

im ok for the time off its my mam that can’t do it, i have to go for consult with trnaynor on tuesday 5;30pm go home then be at the hospital 7;30am the next day its gunna be 10hrs in car for 2 days and as it stands i’l be there on my own with no way of getting home? i live 2 and half hrs away xx

Hey lisa hope it all goes well for u hunni. Its awful that this keeps happening to u. Bet its totally taken over.ur excited.now.too its so not fair!! Ive had my hospital changed loads on to my 4th now!! Let us know how it goes with helena bet shes great… I believe things happen for a reason…

Lisa they are sending me in a car tuesday then a car back home tuesday evening, then my mam is gunna take me wednesday and stay overnight and bring me home thursday xx

Christine – mr traynor is always known for the natural look… He doesnt plaster/ strap up he uses two big plasters over ur scars and thats it. Scars are very neat.. He is well recommended. He done kym marshes… Hes a lovely bloke!!

He dont use drains, he only takes 30mins to do the op. U dont wear.a bra at all for 6wks with unders… Im sure ul love him when u meet him!u do know its preston where is next wed dont u??

Yea i know it’s preston, thanks hun, im supposed to be having 410’s so hopefully he will just agree with that, i feel a bit better now knowing i don’t need strapping etc… im coming from north yorkshire round near where flamingo land zoo is. xx

Hmmm u might get away with it hunni let me know what he says and ill see u on wed. Two other gils are there with us so there is 4 now hope they realise that thats now 4 daycases they have wonder how they fit us all in in the morning!! Im getting my admission time tomorrow xx

well my pc just said i shud be there at 7:30am, to be hines though if he doesnt let me have the 410’s i’l have to wait for Aurakzai to get back because i know i’l be dissapointed going smaller because im set on the size 410 ive even managed to go from 7st6 to nearlly 9st for em. xx

We understand how frustrating this must be and I can assure you it is also frustrating for our clinic staff as the last thing they want to do is deliver this news to you. Unfortunately some circumstances are out of our control but i can assure you that we will work our hardest to try and help sort the situation out.

That’s ridiculous but at least your getting sorted and you have another surgeon but it’s still not good really!

Christine you need to tell your pc that’s they need to sort you a driver because it’s a joke that they expect you to be travelling about like that in such a short space of time when it’s no fault of your own but mr t is a good surgeon so your going to be in good hands.

Fairy I didn’t realise you’d had yours changed so much aswel, I hope this doesn’t happen to me (or anybody else or course) as my bf can only gave a wk off work and I have 2 young children that I’d have to find babysitters for Good luck girls, hope it finally gets sorted for you next wk X

Thankyou so much everyone for all your support. The first time it got cancelled I cried and cried. This time I have no energy left to do that. It came as no great surprise to me. I’ll believe these boobies when I see them. And I’ve been white as a bleedin sheet for ages now, without my fake tan. And I stopped all exercise and put on weight for Mr Aurakzai when I needn’t have bothered. Feel like crap. x

I dont understand why he likes his girls to put weight on it’s stupid I think unless someones is really underweight but from what I understand nobody ever is really and he still asks for weight to be put on! Did they get in contact with you Lisa? X

Just had a call from my PC saying I can go to Leeds tomorrow to meet Helena, as opposed to going to Manchester tomorrow. So off to Leeds I pop tomorrow. Good job I’m pretty much my own boss at work. x

i’ve not had a call from any “senior management” but my pc is having me picked up in a mercedees to take me to my consultation and home again tuesday, also as im having consultation so close to surgery she has had to oder me every size of implant in advance in case he wants to give me a different size than 410’s, then on wednesday i’l be traveling over in my mams car as previously planned, my pc was great she offered to book me into hotel tuesday night so i didn’t have to go home between consultation and surgery but would mean been away from the kids for ages which i didn’t want. Cant fault my PC she’s great, just hope i get the result i want. xx

My PC has also been fantastic. It’s not their fault, poor things. I’d hate to be them delivering news like this. I’m travelling from Newcastle Stacey. x

Makes me wonder what is going wrong with Mya. as my mate had her op 6 weeks ago, all was good, but when it came to her 6 week check up, she turned up to find they had not booked her in. this actually happened twice. I have told her to ask for traveling expenses after all it took me 7 hour round trip for my pre-op. xx
