op cancelled….. im sick of my life

i had already packed my bags….. for BA on friday… but its been cancelled due to a gp letter….. and theres no time to get it all sorted b4 friday. i’ve cried my eyes out n am now one big soggy mess…. i was so prepared and had it set in my mind… girls b careful about booking a date fast…… i saw mario last wk week and was gonna have Ba a week later… not now….. hopefully can be re booked for june….. sods law aswell considering i payed of my whole balance yesterday morning…

oh no thats not fair! did the GP f up? im so sorry to hear that! are u sure there isnt something they can do?

Huni l dont understand. Why were they waiting for a docs note. Can the doctor not fax the letter. My gp did and no charge. Big hugs hun its so not fair xx

nothing…… it wudnt of been a problem if there was more time….. i was really angry earlier but i do understand what there saying…. im still getting my op, just not on friday… but at least its all payed for, one less thing to worry about.. xx

yeah vicky they did but there was a slight problem…. hopefully ill get my op in june and if mario dosnt have space a will have no choice to try others surgeons at mya…. if i have to wait longer than june al not be happy x

Awww big hugs Claire. I been there so know how u feel. I was meant to have my op last yr with Mario Russo who was then with the hospital group. Because of missing blood samples done on pre op, they did more blood test on day of op and found out my blood count was low. So they cancelled my op after I put gown on, stockings and body markings. So please don’t be too upset and think positively. It will happen for u; yr time will come. Sometimes things happen for a reason. And for me I realised I wanted to go for a bigger size. X

aww babe i no how you feel bless you!! this happened to me 2 days b4 my op and i was beside myself then they said it would be another month b4 i could get booked in again but luckly i got a cancelation 2 weeks later so hopefully you will get one and you can get it sooner!! fingers crossed xxx

awww hun im so gutted for u look on the bright side tho, june is only a matter of a few weeks away and it will come round in no time xx the GP letter is a nervous wait, i have a history of low iron levels plus im underweight so i was worried they wouldnt do my op but my iron levels were fine and because ive always been underweight there was no concerns xx keep ur chin up chick xx

awww so sorry to hear claire, keep your chin up though hun, you may get a cancellation and have it done sooner. *hugs*

Hiya kezza….. its a bit hard to take a cancellation depending on the notice. Iv got 4 kids to get looked after etc x
