I can’t believe my day has come and gone – I’d do it all again tomorrow it has honestly been the best day of my life so far.
I wasn’t with MYA, nothing against MYA but I wanted to be a day case and I don’t live near any of the MYA clinics.
My admission time was 7:30AM this morning, I got there at 7:15 and was walking to theatre by 8:20! I had my mum drop me off and check in with me, then asked her to leave as she gets nervous easily and that would put me on edge – I have been so calm in the run up to the operation, I wasn’t nervous at all today, I’d recommend doing whatever you can to keep yourself calm I think it makes such a difference, and for all everyone says it.. There really is NOTHING to be nervous about!
The best way for me to describe how I felt when I woke up was as though I’d just gotten out a really hot bath, just slightly light headed and really lethargic.
(Knock on wood) SO FAR I am one of the lucky ones and I haven’t had any ‘pain’ as such or even any discomfort. I’d say I’m aware that I’ve had something done, but nothing unbearable at all. My incisions sting ever so slightly.
I had 400cc partials (motiva implants not the ones MYA use) and I’m now sat at home in a Macom bra and a binder!
Overall I could not fault my entire experience, I have had the best day and can only hope and wish that everyone has an experience like mine – it really is the best feeling in the world and I’d do it all again tomorrow! I was on my way home by 4 this afternoon. I’ll try my hardest to upload a picture, I haven’t included a before picture as I didn’t take any – I hated my boobs that much (tiny 32b).
I’ll answer any questions so feel free to ask anything this forum has been an absolute god send and I can’t thank everyone enough for posting, can’t imagine my experience without checking this forum every day! ?
