Op day was CANCELLED

So It was my op date yesterday, was up just before 5am and set off at 6am. Got there just before my op time which was 7:30am. Got sent straight up and everyone was lovely, even took the wee sample for the pregger test (which took me a good 20 mins to force one out) changed into my gown, the fancy pants and the stockings plus the slippers. Bc of my heart they had to do an ECG test on me so they did that.. then in the end they needed more info on previous ECG’s I’ve had plus more tests and on going investigations. They didn’t want to put me to sleep through anesthetic without knowing all of this so in the end they just couldn’t go ahead with it, Netri had a little chat with me and was amazing, gave me a high five and said he will see me again. He’s amazing! I understand bc at the end of it all, I’d rather be alive then dead but yes it was very guttering! I’m just really hoping now that they get the info they need & I get another app next week. Fingers crossed and I’ll keep posted x

Urgh I’m a sorry to hear that! But your health is of the utmost importance at the end of it, and I know I’d rather be 100% and id hope they wouldn’t put me to sleep just for the sake of it. They’re an amazing team with your best interests at heart and I’m sure you’ll have your surgery very soon x

Oh god that’s so gutting! Hopefully your op won’t be changed to too far away. Had my op this morning and feeling quite sore and nauseous at the moment

@Sophia I know deffo! I’d rather be well alive then die in the process. I was never mad, just gutted! @ @gemma me too, I’m hoping it’s deffo at some point this eeek & well I’m so glad it went well for you, the first few days will never be easy I’m sure but you’ll deffo get better. Hope you’re happy with your new boobiesss!! X
