Op in 10 days and im so scared, help?

I have my op in 10 days. Everyone I have spoken to has gone under General anaesthetic and im going local! Can anyone who has had the same can help, I’m so scared!!??x

I’ve had local for other things in the past, you’re so spaced out you wont have a clue whats going on at all. Its only as you’re coming round you notice things again and by then its all done, you’ll feel like you’ve been awake and wont really remember anything. Also, the after effects of local are amazing, seriously. I tried to shove my face thru my mums car seat with the hole in it. Told her I was on TV. I was pressing my face against the car window making faces at passers by, and laughed SO much coming down the clinic stairs the nurses had to practically carry my down, I couldn’t stop.

After effect of General I’ve had before consisted of thinking I was ok and then throwing up. Honestly local is fine haha.

Look up some post dental videos of people who have had it, they’re mental.

Haha that does sound crazy but pretty cool can cope with that… I am so scared of needles! It’s more them trying to get my numb.. does it hurt when they put the anaesthetic in or is it just little prick? And I have read on these forums about peoples dropping and having to have the op ‘re done which is worrying.. I am just so worried I will try fight bring sleepy and end up staying awake :/ xx
